Abstract: An article discharge system includes a placement unit in which the article group is placed, plural grippers, a movable member, a robot that moves the movable member, weight acquisition units, and a control unit. The plural grippers grip some articles with gripping member. The plural grippers are attached to the movable member. The weight acquisition units acquire weight values of the articles that each of the grippers grips. The control unit moves the movable member, brings the plural grippers closer to the placement unit, causes the plural grippers to grip some of the articles of the article group placed in the placement unit, and, based on the result of a combination calculation using the weight values of the articles that each of the grippers grips and which the weight acquisition units have acquired, causes predetermined grippers among the plural grippers to release the articles and thereby discharge the articles.

Abstract: A bag-making and packaging machine includes sealing jaws, a horizontal moving device, a vertical moving device, and a control unit. The sealing jaws perform a transverse sealing operation. The vertical moving device moves the sealing jaws in a vertical direction. The vertical moving device includes a rotating shaft, a motor, and a link mechanism. The link mechanism transmits rotational force of the rotating shaft to the sealing jaws. The control unit performs first control or second control. The first control forwardly rotates and reversely rotates the rotating shaft during a period of time from a start of the transverse sealing operation to a start of a subsequent transverse sealing operation. The second control performs one of the transverse sealing operation and the subsequent transverse sealing operation with a forward rotation of the rotating shaft and the other with a reverse rotation of the rotating shaft.

The slide portion (12B) has a length (L) or an angle (A) with respect to a horizontal direction (H) of a path along which the article (100) slides down the slide surface (120), takes off from a downstream end portion (120E) of the slide portion (12B), freely falls in a space (S) where the slide surface (120) does not exist, and then reaches the discharge opening (20), in the second state.

Abstract: An X-ray inspection apparatus suppresses anomalies in inspection results caused by the X-ray inspection apparatus being used while an unsuitable setting is in effect. The X-ray inspection apparatus is provided with an inspection unit, a setting unit, a storage unit, an assessment unit, and a notification unit. The inspection unit inspects an irradiated article using detection data obtained by detecting X-rays. The setting unit sets a setting value used in inspection of the article by the inspection unit. The storage unit stores a detection value based on the detection data. The assessment unit assesses, on the basis of the detection value stored in the storage unit, whether or not the setting value set by the setting unit is suitable. When the assessment unit has assessed that the setting value is not suitable, the notification unit issues a notification to indicate that the setting value is not suitable.
