A method for manufacturing a biosensor includes forming a laminate of a first silicon oxide film and a polysilicon film on one surface of a silicon substrate; forming a second silicon oxide film on the other surface of the silicon substrate; forming a source electrode, a drain electrode, and a channel on the first silicon oxide film, the channel connecting the source electrode and the drain electrode; and removing the polysilicon film.
Abstract:
In addition to output the mid-high range audio sound from the speakers of the main unit, the present invention can output the low range audio sound according to the audio signal transmitted from the main unit through the DC power supply transmission cable from the sub-woofer unit of the AC adapter. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a richly expressive acoustic space without enlarging the size of the main unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus, a method and a computer program product are provided for conserving energy during functional mode of a processor by disabling the scan chain. By inserting logic gating into the scan chain it is possible to disable the scan chain during the processor's functional mode. During functional mode the scan out port of the latch bit in a scan chain toggles, which leads to unnecessary energy consumption. By gating scan control signals and the scan out port of a latch bit, the scan chain segment between latch bits can be disconnected. Therefore, the scan control signals can disable the scan chain during functional mode.
Abstract:
Provided is a sensor having a high sensitivity and a high degree of freedom of layout by reducing constrictions of the channel shape, the reaction field area, and the position. Provided is also a method for manufacturing the sensor. The sensor (10) includes: a source electrode (15), a drain electrode, (14), and a gate electrode (13) arranged on silicon oxide film (12a, 12b); a channel (16) arranged on the silicon oxide films (12a, 12b) and electrically connected to the source electrode (15) and the drain electrode (14); and a reaction field (20) arranged on the silicon oxide films (12a, 12b). The reaction field (20) is formed at a position on the silicon oxide film (12a), the position being different from a position for the channel (16). With this configuration, it is possible to independently select the shape of the channel (16) and the area of the reaction field (20). This enables the sensor (10) to have a high measurement sensitivity and a high degree of freedom of layout.
Abstract:
A system for a processor with memory with combined line and word access is presented. A system performs narrow read/write memory accesses and wide read/write memory accesses to the same memory bank using multiplexers and latches to direct data. The system processes 16 byte load/sore requests using a narrow read/write memory access and also processes 128 byte DMA and instruction fetch requests using a wide read/write memory access. During DMA requests, the system writes/reads sixteen DMA operations to memory on one instruction cycle. By doing this, the memory is available to process load/store or instruction fetch requests during fifteen other instruction cycles.
Abstract:
Provision is made for a particle-beam treatment system in which, even during particle-beam irradiation, the shape of a multileaf collimator is monitored. The particle-beam treatment system, in which multi-layer conformal irradiation is performed while the setting of the shape of the multileaf collimator in an irradiation head is changed during particle-beam irradiation, is provided with an optical shape-monitoring unit mounted attachably and detachably in the snout portion at the downstream side of the multileaf collimator, the optical shape-monitoring unit having a shape-monitoring mirror, opposing the multileaf collimator, for monitoring the shape of the multileaf collimator; a video camera for shooting the multileaf-collimator shape reflected by the shape-monitoring mirror; and an image monitor for displaying an image of the video camera that shoots the shape of the multileaf collimator.
