Abstract:
Compounds are provided which have the structure wherein Q is C or N, A is O or S, Z is O or a bond, X is CH or N and R1, R2, R2a, R2b, R2c, R3, Y, x, m, and n are as defined herein, which compounds are useful as antidiabetic, hypolipidemic, and antiobesity agents.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method of categorizing a customer includes steps of selecting a measure on which the status of the customer is to be analyzed, selecting a calculation period and selecting a comparison method. A lifecycle factor may then be computed, the lifecycle factor being related to both the size and the growth of the customer according to the selected measure. Both the size and growth are determined over two selected calculation periods using the selected comparison method. Selected customers may then be categorized into one of a plurality of lifecycle stages by evaluating a plurality of categorization criteria, at least one of the plurality of categorization criteria including the computed lifecycle factor. For example, the lifecycle stages may include the stages of New, Growing, Stable, Declining, Defected and/or Insignificant. The lifecycle factor may be computed by determining the absolute value of a difference of the selected measure and by multiplying the determined absolute value with a percentage measure growth of the selected measure, both the difference and the percentage measure growth being determined over two selected periods according to the selected comparison method.

Abstract:
A method is disclosed for determining the presence of response abnormalities in magnetic sensors. The method includes placing the sensor in an applied magnetic field and collecting sensor resistance information as the magnitude and direction of the applied field is altered. The resistance values are then examined to determine the presence of response abnormalities.
Abstract:
A stator for a ceiling fan includes a disc with two different depth slots alternately formed on the outer peripheral edge. A primary winding and a secondary winding are respectively wound in the longer slots and the shorter slots. An axle is disposed through the center of the disc and a circuit board including one or more resistors is disposed on a surface of the disc. Two or more contacts are provided for connection to a switch for changing the power supplied to the windings through the contacts in order to change the rotational speed of the ceiling fan. A cavity is formed on the circuit board for receiving the resistors.
Abstract:
A high voltage and high power boost converter is disclosed. The boost converter includes a boost converter IC and a discrete Schottky diode, both of which are co-packaged on a standard single common die pad. The bottom cathode is electrically connected to the common die pad. It is emphasized that this abstract is being provided to comply with rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. This abstract is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

Abstract:
A current limiting load switch for bridging supply Vss and load with a reference voltage VRdt dynamically generated by a VRdt-generator is proposed. It includes: A pair of power FET and sense FET interconnected in split-current configuration. The FET pair develops a load voltage while limiting load current Iload to a preset maximum Imax. The FET pair is sized to draw device currents Ipower and Is with RATIOI=Is/Ipower
Abstract:
An apparatus for providing remote client deactivation includes a processing element. The processing element may be configured to receive a message associated with a service related to a communication session with a client, determine whether the client is associated with an indication to deactivate the client and communicate a signaling message to deactivate the client in response to a determination that the client is associated with the indication to deactivate the client.
