Abstract:
A fuel supply tank, comprising a tank body 7 which stores fuel, a fuel filter 13 disposed in the tank body 7, a fuel supply passage 27 for supplying fuel in the tank body 7 to a fuel injection apparatus 3, a fuel return passage 29 for returning excess fuel and vapor from the fuel injection apparatus 3 into the tank body 7. The fuel supply passage 27 and the fuel return passage 29 are connected to the clean fuel room 23 which is defined by the fuel filter 13, and separation of fuel and vapor is performed in the clean fuel room 23.
Abstract:
An internal combustion engine fuel supply system includes a fuel discharge apparatus having a vapor removal system. The fuel discharge apparatus includes an apparatus body, a fuel chamber defined in the body, a fuel inlet connected to a fuel tank, a fuel supply path partially defined by the fuel inlet and connecting the fuel chamber to the fuel tank, a fuel discharge outlet, a fuel return outlet for return of excess fuel to the fuel tank, and a reflux path connecting the fuel supply path to the fuel return outlet. A vapor blocking member is provided in the fuel supply path at a bifurcation point at which the reflux path branches from the fuel supply path. The reflux path is arranged such that vapor blocked by the vapor blocking member rises from the bifurcation point and through the reflux path to the fuel return outlet due to self-buoyancy of the vapor.
Abstract:
The present invention achieves an increase in the amount of vapor that is expelled, stabilized fuel injection and improved starting characteristics in a fuel injection pump. In an electromagnetically driven fuel injection pump 20 which allows fuel to escape into the return passage 5 in the initial region of the pressure-feeding stroke of the plunger 21, and which pressure-feeds fuel into the injection port 33 in the later region of the pressure-feeding stroke, pulse powering of the coil 23 that does not lead to the injection of fuel, i.e., pulse powering which is such that the plunger 21 performs a reciprocating motion through the initial region, is performed when the engine 2 is in an idle operating state, or in a state in which the engine 2 is re-started after being stopped immediately following high-load operation. As a result, vapor can be expelled with good efficiency, and the flow rate of the circulated fuel is increased so that the cooling effect is also increased, thus causing the generation of vapor to be suppressed as well, so that the starting characteristics or re-starting characteristics are improved.
Abstract:
A highly reliable connecting lead for devices that mount semiconductors. The lead is made of copper or copper alloy. The thickness of the oxide film at the interface between the copper or copper alloy lead and an aluminum bump electrode is 10 nm or less. The contents of oxygen and carbon in the aluminum bump electrode are 1 atm % or less each.
Abstract:
A slide and pin type carburetor using a plate-shaped slide valve in which the lower end surface of a flat plate portion is placed on the same plane as that of a column-shaped portion, the flow rate of air is controlled in the periphery of the column-shaped portion within the region in which the column-shaped portion exists and in front of the flat plate portion within the region in which no column-shaped portion exists, and a cutaway is formed, ranging from the surface located on the upstream side of the lower end of the flat plate portion to the bottom surface of the column-shaped portion, toward the downstream side, in order to make it possible to set properly the level of a negative pressure to be produced without raising abnormally the negative pressure produced in the vicinity of the exit of a main fuel nozzle and to increase the flow velocity of air, without producing any turbulence, in the vicinity of the exit of the main fuel nozzle so that the atomization of the fuel is favorably performed. The cutaway has an inclined surface descending from the upstream side toward the downstream side to shape a part of a conical surface directed to a fuel metering needle mounted on the bottom surface of the column-shaped portion.
