    摘要: A liquid crystal display is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display includes i) a liquid crystal display panel configured to display images, ii) a backlight unit configured to provide light to the liquid crystal display panel and iii) a mold frame comprising a frame main body and a plurality of first side walls, wherein the frame main body is configured to receive the backlight unit, and wherein the first side walls are formed on a top surface of the frame main body. The display may further include a bottom chassis comprising a bottom plate and a plurality of second side walls, wherein the bottom plate is configured to support the mold frame and wherein the second side walls are formed at edges of the bottom plate. The first and second side walls surround side surfaces of the liquid crystal display panel while not contacting the side surfaces, and the first and second side walls are alternately disposed along a circumferential direction of the liquid crystal display panel.

    摘要: Improved quality of service management for multiple connections between a sender and a receiver may be achieved by allocating a host-level transmission rate among the multiple connections based on a ratio of a weight associated with each connection and a sum of the weights associated the connections. Data packets associated with the connections may then be selectively transmitted to the receiver such that data packets having a highest difference between the allocated transmission rate and an actual transmission rate are transmitted first. The data packets transmitted to the sender may also be clocked using a transmission timer having period corresponding to the host-level transmission rate.

    摘要: A backlight unit and a display module employing the backlight unit. The backlight unit of a display apparatus displaying an image, the backlight unit including: a light guide panel guiding light to the display apparatus; a circuit board having a plurality of light source devices mounted thereon and which is formed at a side of the light guide panel; a light leakage preventing portion including: an interval removing portion formed in the light guide panel, and an adhesive portion attached to the interval removing portion and formed on the circuit board, wherein the light leakage preventing portion is formed in a portion of the circuit board attached to the light guide panel. The light leakage preventing portion is formed in a side portion of a light guide panel. Thus, even when an adhesive portion is not formed in front of a light source device of a circuit board, a height difference between a portion of the circuit board where the adhesive portion is formed and a portion of the circuit board where the adhesive portion is not formed can be compensated, thereby improving brightness of a backlight unit and preventing light from leaking.

    摘要: In a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, a preliminary insulating layer is formed on a substrate. A photoresist pattern is formed on the preliminary insulating layer. A central portion of the preliminary insulating layer is partially etched using the photoresist pattern as an etch mask to form a preliminary insulating layer pattern including a central portion and a peripheral portion on the substrate. The peripheral portion of the photoresist pattern is higher than that of the central portion of the preliminary insulating layer pattern. The preliminary insulating layer pattern is polished to form a planarized insulating layer on the substrate.

    摘要: A phase changeable memory device is manufactured by forming at least one insulating layer on a substrate. A preliminary first electrode is formed on the insulating layer. The preliminary first electrode is partially etched to form a first electrode electrically connected to the substrate. After the preliminary first electrode is formed, both sidewalls of the preliminary first electrode are partially etched isotropically to form a first electrode having a uniform width and height. A phase changeable material layer pattern and a second electrode are subsequently formed on the first electrode. Related devices also are described.
