Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of content are provided. The metadata may include one or more BaseURL elements. Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) of segments forming media may be generated based on the BaseURL elements. Additionally, a URL of a segment may be generated by mapping a BaseURL element among the BaseURL elements to a sourceURL attribute of the segment. Segments indicated by generated URLs may be identical to each other.
Abstract:
Provided is a system and method that may perform various operations on a website according to combinations of buttons on a remote controller. A system for supporting a remote controller may include: a profile storage unit to store a plurality of profiles containing functions of the remote controller and information associated with the functions of the remote controller; a receiver to receive an input signal from the remote controller, and to interpret an event of the input signal based on a profile corresponding to the remote controller; and a presentation unit to access a web server, to transform, to a predetermined behavior, at least one event interpreted by the receiver, and to request the web server for an operation corresponding to the behavior.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for screening an anticancer compound and an anticancer compound screened using the method, and more particularly, to a method for screening an anticancer compound, the method comprising: culturing cancer cells expressing the oncogenic protein transmembrane 4 L6 family member 5 (TM4SF5), expressed as the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 2, treating the cancer cells with an anticancer candidate, and determining that the anticancer candidate is an anticancer substance when the candidate exhibits antagonistic activity against tumor formation and metastasis based on several events through the molecular mechanism of TM4SF5. The present invention also relates to chalcone compounds screened to have anticancer activity using the method, and an anticancer composition comprising the compound as an effective ingredient.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile multicast system and a method thereof, and more particularly to a network-based mobility multicast system and a method thereof. The system according to one embodiment of the present invention is the mobile multicast system for supporting the network-based mobility comprising: access points which communicate with mobile terminals within an access network through a wireless channel, obtains layer 2 addresses of the terminals, and provides the obtained layer 2 addresses of the terminals; management parts which control a handover of each terminal included in the access points, transmit multicast packets to be provided to the terminals, and are provided according to the access points; a router which receives the multicast data through the network, and transmits the multicast packets to the terminals for receiving the multicast data; and a mobile control server which obtains position information of the terminals from the management parts, transmits a query message for determining the reception of the multicast data to each of the management parts so as to confirm whether the terminals join the multicast when receiving the query message from the router, and controls setting of a tunnel between the router and the management part for transmitting a membership report message when receiving the membership report message for joining the multicast.
Abstract:
A virtual network constructing apparatus and a virtual network constructing method are provided. The virtual network constructing method includes constructing a virtual network on the basis of a Multi-Depot Ring-Star with 2-Depots per Ring (MDRS-2DR) topology, applying the virtual network to an actual network environment, and reflecting a result of the application to reconstruct the virtual network.
Abstract:
Provided is a fixation method of carbon dioxide. The method includes a) grinding waste gypsum to become 200˜300 mesh; b) performing reaction by supplying mixed gas while mixing the ground waste gypsum with aqueous ammonia, and c) separating solid from liquid in the manufactured slurry by centrifugation and drying separated solid and liquid portions with calcite and ammonium sulfate, wherein the mixed gas is formed of nitrogen and carbon dioxide, and the carbon dioxide provides carbon dioxide fixation method containing 5˜25 wt %. When carbon dioxide is fixed by using waste gypsum, reaction efficiency is remarkably high. The fixation method makes more than 95% of supplied carbon dioxide fixed. Also, provided is an economical method that disposes carbon dioxide as a disposal target without its separation, refinement and liquefaction processes, to thereby remarkably reduce the entire process and costs for processes.
Abstract:
A method for providing a multicast service for an MN includes: transmitting, by an MN connected to a first access point within a first access network, multicast information of the MN to an agent of the first access network through the first access point, wherein the multicast information includes information on a multicast source and a multicast group; transmitting and receiving messages between agents according to a predetermined protocol based on the multicast information of the MN transmitted to the agent of the first access network, and setting a multicast path between the multicast source and the MN of the first access network between the agents; transmitting, by the agent of the first access network, the multicast information of the MN to the MICS; and registering, by the MICS, the multicast information of the MN transmitted from the agent of the first network.
