Abstract: A method for making a new crystalline molecular sieve designated SSZ-105 is disclosed. SSZ-105 is synthesized using N,N-dimethylpiperidinium cations as a structure directing agent. Abstract: A method for preparing an aluminosilicate molecular sieve having the SSY framework structure is described. The method includes (1) a step of preparing a reaction mixture containing an aluminosilicate zeolite having an FAU framework type; N-ethyl-N-(3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexyl)pyrrolidinium cations and/or N-ethyl-N-(2,4,4-trimethylcyclopentyl)pyrrolidinium cations; an alkali metal; hydroxide ions; seed crystals; and water; and (2) a step of subjecting the reaction mixture to crystallization conditions sufficient to form crystals of the aluminosilicate molecular sieve. The resulting molecular sieves are useful as catalysts, particularly when used in combination with exchanged transition metal(s).

Abstract: A method is disclosed making aluminosilicate SSZ-82. The method includes (1) preparing a reaction mixture comprising: an amorphous alumina source comprising predominantly aluminum hydroxide; an amorphous silica source comprising predominantly colloidal silica; a source of an alkali metal cation; an organic structure directing agent comprising a 1,6-bis(N-cyclohexylpyrrolidinium)hexane dication; hydroxide ions; seed crystals, wherein the seed crystals comprise a crystalline molecular sieve having an SSZ-82 framework; and water; (2) heating the reaction mixture under crystallization conditions including a temperature of from 100° C. to 200° C. for a time sufficient to form crystals of the aluminosilicate zeolite; and (3) recovering at least a portion of the aluminosilicate zeolite from step (2).

Abstract: A method is provided for the synthesis of aluminum-containing forms of molecular sieve CIT-15. The method includes treating an aluminogermanosilicate CIT-13 molecular sieve with water under conditions sufficient to degermanate at least a portion of the aluminogermanosilicate CIT-13 molecular sieve to provide a phyllosilicate comprising delaminated cfi-layers; and calcining the phyllosilicate under conditions sufficient to convert the phyllosilicate to an aluminogermanosilicate CIT-15 molecular sieve.

The method includes: (1) preparing a reaction mixture comprising: (a) a source of silica; (b) a source of alumina; (c) a source of an alkali or alkaline earth metal cation; (d) an organic structure directing agent containing at least one cation selected from a 1,2-dimethyl-3-(3-methylbenzyl) imidazolium cation, a 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium cation, and a 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium cation; (e) a source of hydroxide ions; and (f) water; (2) heating the reaction mixture under crystallization conditions including a temperature of from 80° C. to 200° C. for a time sufficient to form crystals of the high-silica zeolite; and (3) recovering at least a portion of the high-silica zeolite from step (2).
