    摘要: A reset controller is adopted which performs control for causing an external reset terminal to be shared for external output of a reset signal and input of a reset signal from outside, allowing a reset input from the external reset terminal in a state in which a power supply voltage is stable, and causing, when a reset factor due to turn-on of a power supply voltage or a reduction in the level of the power supply voltage is detected by a detection circuit, an input/output buffer to output a reset signal to the external reset terminal and masking the inflow of the reset signal from the input/output buffer to its input path, using a signal detected by the detection circuit. A mask period is assumed to be a period longer than a period from reset instructions to a reset release.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for enlarging the range of modulation frequencies that modulate the variable wavelength light generated by the light source without prejudice to the measurement of optical characteristics. A modified modulation frequency computing section computes modified modulation frequencies by multiplying by the initial modulation frequency fmin by the value obtained by dividing the given phase value by the phase difference between the first phase of the transmitted light resulting from the transmission through the DUT of the incident light of the first wavelength modulated by the initial modulation frequency fmin and the second phase of the transmitted light resulting from the transmission through the DUT of the incident light of the second wavelength modulated by the initial modulation frequency fmin. A modified modulation frequency setting section sets the modified modulation frequency as the frequency of the modulating signal so that the frequencies for modulating the incident light may be wider in range than the initial modulation frequency fmin and that the phase difference may be kept at a value equal to or below the given phase value, and the precision of measuring phase differences can be enhanced.

    摘要: A polarization state changing apparatus which can change the polarization state of an incident polarized light entering to an optical fiber to any direction and can output is provided. This polarization state changing apparatus, in an embodiment, comprises three polarization plane maintaining optical fibers 10, 20 and 300 which are serially connected at two polarization plane changing parts 30 and 30'. Those three polarization plane maintaining optical fibers are connected at the polarization plane changing parts 30 and 30'so that the optical axes X and Y of the adjacent optical fibers are mutually rotated at an angle of 45 degrees in terms of the fiber axis. Stress application parts for applying stress to each of the polarization plane maintaining optical fibers are provided. In a specific example, each optical fiber is wound around each piezoelectric element cylinder and predetermined stress is applied to each optical fiber by driving those piezoelectric element cylinders by power supplies each of which oscillating frequency and generated voltage are both variable. Also, a polarization degree measuring apparatus using the polarization state changing apparatus is provided to measure degree of polarization accurately and quickly.

    摘要: A push switch including a rotatably supported movable contact member with a movable contact portion which comes into contact with and separates from a stationary contact; and a cam shaft rotatably disposed between the lower surface of a plunger and the movable contact member. The switching driver portion of the cam shaft slides on the movable contact member. The force used to push down the plunger is exerted on the movable contact member through the switching driver portion to tilt the movable contact member. The push switch also includes a switching guide protrusion, which is provided at the movable contact member, for always guiding the switching driver portion of the cam shaft towards the raised end portion of the movable contact member, in accordance with the direction in which the movable contact member tilts; a coil spring for biasing the cam shaft and automatically restoring it back to its original position, and for biasing the plunger upward; and a cam member which is rockably supported on the movable contact member and receives the lower end of the coil spring. The push switch is more durable and provides a more reliable contact.
