Embodiments of the present invention provide a transmission status determining method, where the method includes: receiving, by a receive end device in a first time period, a first symbol sequence sent by a transmit end device; determining a first modulation parameter set according to the first symbol sequence; and determining, according to preset first mapping relationship information, a first transmission status corresponding to the first modulation parameter set as a transmission status of the transmit end device in a second time period, where the first mapping relationship information is used to indicate a one-to-one mapping relationship between N transmission statuses and N modulation parameter sets, the first modulation parameter set belongs to the N modulation parameter sets, and the second time period is later than the first time period.

The present invention provides a method for transmitting a downlink signal, a method for receiving a downlink signal, a network system and a terminal. The method includes: transmitting, by a control base station, a first group of downlink signal to a terminal; and transmitting, by a data base station, a second group of downlink signal to the terminal, the first group of downlink signal is at least partially different from the second group of downlink signal. The first group of downlink signal and the second group of downlink signal enable the terminal to implement a network function according to the first group of downlink signal and/or the second group of downlink signal. Embodiments of the present invention can improve network energy efficiency.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a communications method, device, and system. The method includes: monitoring whether a terminal on a macro network has a service requirement on a micro network, where the micro network is in the coverage area of the macro network, and all common physical channels or some common physical channels except a pilot channel on the micro network are in a disabled state; and if the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network, sending a network handover instruction that includes configuration information of the micro network to the terminal, where the network handover instruction is used to instruct the terminal to hand over from the macro network to the micro network. In the embodiments of the present invention, power consumption of a capacity station is reduced, and unnecessary power waste is reduced.

A method, an apparatus, and a system for coding and modulating data are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, from a receiver and a transmitter, parameters for calculating power consumption of the transmitter; calculating, according to the parameters, the power consumption of the transmitter under various combinations of modulation orders and coding rates supported by the transmitter; and selecting a bitwidth, modulation order, and coding rate corresponding to minimum power consumption of the transmitter to code and modulate data sent to the receiver. The method, apparatus, and system provided in embodiments of the present application save power consumption of the transmitter, and greatly improve energy utilization of a wireless device having a digital processing unit.

A carrier bearing method includes obtaining transmit power of each carrier borne on all power amplifiers in a radio remote unit after detecting that transmit power of a carrier borne on a power amplifier in the radio remote unit changes; adjusting a correspondence between the carriers and the power amplifier in the radio remote unit according to the obtained transmit power; and bearing each carrier on its corresponding power amplifier according to the adjusted correspondence. The device and base station are used to implement the above method.
