摘要: The invention relates to a grid welding machine operating on the electrical resistance welding principle and having continuous forward feed of the longitudinal wires. Groups of rotary electrodes and counter-electrodes cooperate in pairs and are arranged above and below the feed path of the longitudinal wires respectively. The electrodes and counter-electrodes are formed as rollers, opposite each electrode roller on the far side of the feed path of the longitudinal wires a counter-electrode being disposed in the same plane. The electrode rollers are spring-loaded individually in the direction towards the associated counterelectrode roller. Between the counter-electrode rollers and coaxially therewith there are arranged substantially circular cross-wire feed discs each having a number of grooves provided at angular intervals along the periphery of said disc for receiving said cross-wires. The feed discs are fixed for rotation on a driving shaft and the counter-electrodes are mounted on and rotatable relative to the driving shaft.

摘要: The invention relates to a binding tool for twisting the free ends of a binding wire, particularly for holding together metal reinforcing rods at their crossover points. The tool has a feed device for the binding wire, at least one pair of wire guides which can be opened and closed like pincers and which form, in the closed state, a U-shaped wire guide path, in use, around an assembly to be bound, shears for cutting the advanced wire to length and a twisting head which can be driven and which has wire passages to receive the ends of the wire to be twisted, the wire feed path extending, when the twisting head is in the position of rest, through one wire passage therein and, via the U-shaped wire guide path into the other wire passage in the twisting head. The twisting head is disposed in the space between the wire guides of the or each pair and the wire passages in the twisting head are formed in components which can be swung inwards about bearing pins.

摘要: An electrical resistance grid welding machine for welding a family of wires as it passes through the machine along a feedpath into a strip of welded mesh which has a row of electrodes and a row of counterelectrodes arranged above and below the family of wires. The electrodes and counterelectrodes are supported at intervals by separate electrode beams which are driven back and forth, thus coupling the electrodes and counterelectrodes in a common motion. Pressure beams, which are connected to the electrode beams by rigid connectors, can be driven only perpendicular to the feed path. These pressure beams transmit the welding pressure to the electrodes but permit the electrode beams to carry out their reciprocating motion. The electrodes are guided in their associated electrode beam so as to be able to shift in the beam and are loaded by springs.

摘要: The invention concerns a feed device for feeding rod or striplike material, the device having two or more feed members which are arranged to lie behind one another along a feed path of the material. Each of the feed members carries a plurality of grippers arranged at equal angular intervals around a central axis of the feed member and is connected with a gearing which imposes on the feed member a rotational motion about its axis and, simultaneously, a circular motion about a fixed axis parallel with its own axis. The arrangement is such that said rotational and circular motions are coordinated so that the grippers of each of said feed members describe a trochoidal path which includes a substantially straight-line section along the feed path. Devices are provided for the automatic actuation of the grippers during their sweep through the straight-line section and the motion of the two feed members is coordinated so that the grippers of one feed member engage the material alternately with the grippers of the other feed member with an overlap in time to provide continuous advancement of the material.

摘要: The transmission comprises two pairs of aligned coaxial shafts (3,5,12,13) capable of being moved by way of a control relative to each other in an axial direction and having associated therewith at their respective facing ends or sides in each case a clutch disk (37,38,39,40). The shafts can be coupled in various combinations by way of a clutch body (2) disposed so as to be freely shiftable and rotatable between the two pairs of clutch disks.In order to dispose the motor and the elements driven by it on the same side of the transmission, the first pair of coaxial shafts is formed from an extension (3) of the drive shaft (1) extending beyond the clutch element or body (2) and from a hollow shaft (5) concentrically surrounding this extension (3) and connected to it under a fixed transmission ratio. The second pair of coaxial shafts is formed from two shafts (12,13) disposed in front of the clutch body (2) and surrounding coaxially the drive shaft (1), where each of these shafts (12,13) is connected in each case at definite predetermined transmission ratios via a gear wheel (14,15) with a gear wheel (16,17) which in turn is coupled to or is capable of being coupled to the driven shaft (18).

摘要: The invention relates to a change-under-load transmission having an input shaft (1) and an output shaft (6), each carrying a pair of gearwheels (2, 3; 4, 5). A composite layshaft comprises two pairs of coaxial shafts (7, 8; 9, 10) which are aligned axially with one another. At their adjacent ends the shafts carry friction coupling elements (25, 31 and 25, 30) which have effective coupling faces (25', 31'; 26' 30'). At their remote ends each of the coaxial shafts carries a gearwheel (23, 27; 24, 28) which is in permanent mesh with an associated one of the gear wheels on the respective input or output shaft. Between the adjacent ends of the two pairs of coaxial shafts a central friction coupling element (32) is positioned so as to be freely slidable axially with respect to the coaxial shafts. Correspondingly positioned ones (7, 9 in FIG. 1; 8, 10 in FIG. 2) of the two pairs of shafts are supported so as to be axially inwardly slidable independently of one another out of a rest position into which they are biassed by springs (21, 22 in FIG. 1; 45, 46 in FIG. 2), and the other shaft (8, 10 in FIG. 1; 7, 9 in FIG. 2) are axially immovable. In the rest position of the shafts the effective coupling faces (30' 31' in FIG. 1, 47' 48' in FIG. 2) of the coupling elements on the slidable shafts are nearer the central coupling disc than the coupling faces (25' 26' in FIG. 1 and 49', 50' in FIG. 2) of the coupling elements on the axially immovable shafts.

摘要: Wires are picked from a loose bundle of wires which have been cut to length, prior to feeding to a processing machine such as a grid welding machine. The bundle is laid on a supporting table (23) so that end parts of the wires project freely beyond the table. A lifting beam (18) having a vertical slot (19) is then raised beneath the projecting end parts of the wires so that most of the wires are raised but the others are received one above the other in the slot. A gripper having clamping cheeks (20) is applied from below and grips the lowermost wire in the slot. The gripper is mounted on a carrier (2) which is movable parallel to the wire axes to pull the gripped wire longitudinally out of the slot.

The machine includes a bending mandrel which is stationary during the bending process and a bending tool which can be pivoted about the mandrel. The clamping cheeks are also movable relative to one another in a direction substantially parallel toward the feed path so that they can be displaced from a clamping position in which their respective cutting edges are offset from one another and their clamping faces face one another, into a cutting position in which their cutting edges are aligned and the clamping faces are offset from one another.
