    摘要: There is disclosed a processor array, which achieves an approximately constant latency. Communications to and from the farthest array elements are suitably pipelined for the distance, while communications to and from closer array elements are deliberately “over-pipelined” such that the latency to all end-point elements is the same number of clock cycles. The processor array has a plurality of primary buses, each connected to a primary bus driver, and each having a respective plurality of primary bus nodes thereon; respective pluralities of secondary buses, connected to said primary bus nodes; a plurality of processor elements, each connected to one of the secondary buses; and delay elements associated with the primary bus nodes, for delaying communications with processor elements connected to different ones of the secondary buses by different amounts, in order to achieve a degree of synchronization between operation of said processor elements.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for processing a photolithographic substrate, comprising the placement of the photolithographic substrate on a support member in a chamber wherein the photolithographic substrate has an initial temperature of about zero degrees Celsius to about fifty degrees Celsius. A heat transfer fluid is introduced into the chamber to cool the photolithographic substrate to a target temperature of less than about zero degrees Celsius to less than about minus forty degrees Celsius. The cooled photolithographic substrate is subjected to a plasma process before the temperature of the cooled photolithographic substrate reaches the initial temperature.

    摘要: Bucket tips and covers for the bucket tips are robotically welded to one another. Profiles of the bucket tips are patterned on the covers and openings generally corresponding to those profiles are formed through the covers. The openings may be stepped to limit the penetration of the bucket tip into the cover and the weld material is robotically applied to fill the remainder of the cover opening unoccupied by the bucket tip. Alternatively, the bucket tips may have a shoulder to limit penetration of the bucket tips in the cover openings. The weld is then stress relieved and machined to form a continuous smooth outer surface.

    摘要: A conveyor for transporting a workpiece from a first position to a second position along a curved path. The conveyor includes side members including a plurality of individual members arranged adjacent one another and allowing for such that individual members may move in a longitudinal direction relative to adjacent individual members to change the overall length of the side member. The side members are interconnected through use of slots and fasteners such that the slots in adjacent individual members are offset to allow for longitudinal adjustment between the adjacent members. Such adjustment results in an adjustable flexible conveyor enabling the conveyor to be adjustable in either direction along a particular curved path or configuration.

    摘要: A method for cooling and pressurizing a laser imaging head includes the steps of: providing the imaging head with components including a laser source, a light valve for modulating light from the laser source, and optics for transferring an image to a medium; enclosing the imaging head within a non-hermetically sealed enclosure; and providing a flow of cooled air at a predetermined cool air temperature and at a controlled positive air pressure into the sealed enclosure through an inlet from a vortex tube operating from compressed air, wherein the cooled air flow and the predetermined cooled air temperature are controlled by the vortex tube to maintain an operating temperature of the components within the imaging head within a predetermined operating range, and wherein the positive air pressure is maintained within the sealed enclosure with respect to ambient air pressure outside of the sealed enclosure due to the controlled flow of cooled air entering the sealed enclosure.

    摘要: Partitions have an airfoil coupled at opposite ends to inner and outer side walls. The side walls each mount radially extending male dovetails. The inner web and outer ring of a diaphragm include complementary shaped dovetail grooves. The male dovetails have a reduced diameter portions while the female grooves similarly have corresponding reduced diameter groove portions. The male dovetails are inserted into the female dovetail grooves in an aft direction with stops of the reduced male and female dovetails preventing further movement aft. Seal welds are applied to prevent forward movement of the partitions relative to the web and outer ring.
