摘要: The present invention relates to a functional engineered rice having alcoholism relief and liver protection functions for those drinking alcohol over an extended period of time or drinking alcohol excessively, and preparation method thereof. The engineered rice comprises six starting materials: coarse rice powder, isolated soy protein, kudzu root extract, corn oligopeptide, purple sweet potato powder, and hawthorn extract, and is prepared by: premixing the starting materials; employing a double screw extruder to conduct texturized processing and forming under high temperature and high pressure; and then drying, dedusting and packaging.

摘要: The present invention provides food products, nutritional programs, and methods for meeting nutritional needs of subjects with dementia and related cognitive disorders. In one embodiment, the invention provides a food product comprising a reversibly sealed container and a soup, wherein the soup is in the container and comprises a total volume of 200-2000 mls, a vegetable or meat component, 300 to 2500 calories, a macronutrient caloric distribution comprising: 20-80% fat, 10-45% protein, and 10-65% carbohydrate, about 2% to about 40% medium chain triglycerides, omega 3 fatty acids in an amount of 100 to 2000 mg and less than 20 solid food particles having a volume greater than about 20 cm3. Such food products, when administered to affected subjects, can positively impact (i) nutritional status; (ii) quality of life; (iii) disease course; (v) the demand for assistance from a care giver; (vi) subject compliance with a nutritional plan using the food product, and (vii) ease of monitoring compliance by the caregiver for verification.

摘要: A reduction treatment agent made of a powder with a particle size within a range of 1500 to 3000 mesh, the powder containing: 20 to 40 parts of a mixed-oxide powder containing magnesium oxide and zinc oxide; and 60 to 80 parts of an organic acid powder containing calcium, ascorbic acid, citric acid and salt. The reduction treatment agent may further contain one to six kinds of metal powder selected from the group of copper, molybdenum, nickel, cobalt, iron and aluminum, each in an amount of one part. Due to this configuration, the reduction treatment agent can be easily mixed with various substances when added to those substances. Even if the target substance is not water, the agent can entirely and uniformly change that substance into a reduced state. Additionally, the reduction treatment agent can act as a surfactant, and therefore, can be used as cosmetics or food.

摘要: The present invention provides a composition containing α-lipoic acid and N-acetylcysteine as active ingredients. The mixed composition of α-lipoic acid and N-acetylcysteine of the present invention can reduce a risk of side effects due to drugs with synergetic effects due to merge administration of two drugs, and can be usefully used for preventing or treating obesity with excellent effects of inhibiting a weight gain compared to each single composition containing α-lipoic acid or N-acetylcysteine.

In an embodiment, the composition comprising cinnamaldehydeis administered to a human. The composition comprising cinnamaldehyde may be a medicament, a food product or a supplement.
