Disclosed are a gas to liquids (GTL)-floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) system that can be used in offshore oil fields or stranded gas fields and a method for producing synthetic fuel using the same. More particularly, the disclosure relates to a GTL-FPSO system capable of producing liquid synthetic fuel from gas extracted from stranded gas fields or associated gas extracted from oil fields, including a reforming reactor and a liquid hydrocarbon producer, and a method for producing the same.

The present invention relates to a core-shell cobalt catalyst used for a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction and a method for preparing the same. More particularly, it relates to a cobalt catalyst, which has a core-shell structure including a cobalt-supported and sintered alumina particle as a core and a zeolite powder coated on the surface of the alumina particle to a thickness of 50 μm or greater through mechanical alloying as a shell and is used to prepare hydrocarbons with high octane numbers through a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction, and a method for preparing the same.

Disclosed is a Co/Al2O3/SiC catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis exhibiting superior heat transfer and mass transport effects, wherein an Al2O3/SiC support in which alumina is coated on silicon carbide (SiC) with superior thermal conductivity is used and cobalt (Co) is supported thereon as an active component to provide a bimodal pore size distribution, and a method for preparing same. Use of the Al2O3/SiC support improves cobalt dispersion and enhances cobalt-support interaction, thereby inhibiting generation of cokes (carbon filaments). As a result, catalyst stability is improved and conversion of syngas (carbon monoxide and hydrogen) can be improved.

Disclosed are methods for producing dimethyl ether using a dimethyl ether (DME)-floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) system that can be used in offshore oil fields or stranded gas fields. More particularly, the disclosure relates to producing dimethyl ether from gas extracted from stranded gas fields or from associated gas extracted from oil fields at an FMSO facility, which includes a reforming reactor and a dimethyl ether reactor equipped offshore.
