    Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable terminal includes a display comprising a front side and a rear side, a first sensing unit configured to sense a biometric characteristic and disposed at the rear side of the display to be proximate to or contact a user's body, a second sensing unit configured to sense a movement of the terminal; and controller configured to execute a different function based on the movement of the terminal when a sensing strength of the biometric characteristic via the first sensing unit is greater than a threshold strength level, wherein the sensing strength is varied based on a portion of the user's body which the first sensing unit is proximate to or is in contact with.
