摘要: A simplified system and method for remotely monitoring and optionally further controlling pumpjack operating parameters of a pumpjack located at a distant site but within wireless cell phone station reception. Sensors situated on a pumpjack monitor and create analog output of operational conditions of the pumpjack. Digitizing means digitize the analog output of the sensors to digital data, and modem means transmit the digital data via a wireless cellular network to a network server. A user's computer communicates with the network server via the internet, and accesses the digital data to obtain information regarding the operational conditions of the pumpjack.

摘要: A method associated with the selection of tubulars for hydrocarbon production is described. In particular, the method is associated with the evaluation of performance limits of threaded connections. In this method, constituents of an evaluation group of threaded connections are determined via model analysis. Then, physical testing on a first group of threaded connections in the evaluation group is conducted. Modeling analysis on the first group and a second group of threaded connections is performed, wherein the second group are not physically tested. Once modeled, the results from the physical testing and the modeling analysis are compared to assess a characteristic performance factor for the first group. Then, the characteristic performance factor is applied to the second group, and the performance limits are defined based on this characteristic performance factor.

摘要: A system for tracking client contacts for a host organization utilizes a multimedia database and a user interface at a connected computer device. The database stores client communications as full content, and relates contacts by issue, and the user interface displays client contact communications as objects, such as icons, in issue related chronological strings. In a preferred embodiment the interface also provides an input facility for a host agent to select appropriate responses to client communications, to make commitments for response, to assign responsibility for commitments, and to notify personnel affected by entered commitments in various ways, such as reminders. Other notifications include fulfilled and unfulfilled commitments.

摘要: Ink jet print head adapted to minimize orientation-induced line-width variation. The print head having n+1 nozzles. The n nozzles are located at vertices of a polygon having an average side length savg and one nozzle located at a center of the polygon. Each side length of the polygon is less than 20% deviation from the average side length savg. The n+1 nozzles are configured to ink jet a line having a line-width w; and each of the n+1 nozzles is configured to ink jet a spot having an average area-equivalent spot diameter d which satisfies the inequality conditions (I) 0.7w≦d+(n/π)savg≦1.3w  (I).

摘要: Micro-fluid ejection heads and methods for extending the life of micro-fluid ejection heads. One such micro-fluid ejection head includes a substrate having a plurality of thermal ejection actuators. Each of the thermal ejection actuators has a resistive layer and a protective layer thereon. A flow feature member is adjacent the substrate and defines a fluid feed channel, a fluid chamber associated with at least one of the actuators and in flow communication with the fluid feed channel, and a nozzle. The nozzle is offset to a side of the chamber opposite the feed channel. A polymeric layer having a degradation temperature of less than about 400° C. overlaps a portion of the at least one actuator associated with the fluid chamber and positioned less than about five microns from at least an edge of the at least one actuator opposite the fluid feed channel.

摘要: A system and method are disclosed for high temperature protection of combustor and other components by controlling the temperature of combustion chamber gases in a fuel cell system tail gas burner using a nozzle or plurality of nozzles to inject water or water vapor upstream, downstream or directly into the combustion chamber. A variable speed pump, actuated valve or other flow metering device regulates the supply of water or water vapor to the nozzles. For the case of water vapor, an evaporator is required between the pump and nozzles. Flow regulation is effected by a control algorithm that reacts to combustor temperature, changes in the power production of the fuel cell system and/or other related system parameters.
