摘要: A hydraulic clutch including a clutch drum with an outer cylinder fitted with a plurality of clutch plates and a side wall; a clutch piston that defines together with the clutch drum an engagement oil chamber, and moves in an axial direction to press the clutch plates by hydraulic pressure supplied to the engagement oil chamber; and a cancel plate that defines together with the clutch piston a cancel oil chamber that cancels centrifugal hydraulic pressure. The side wall of the clutch drum is formed with a first oil passage that radially extends and is in communication with the engagement oil chamber, and a second oil passage that radially extends and is in communication with the cancel oil chamber. One of the first and second oil passages is at least partially included in a range of an axial width of the other of the first and second oil passages.

摘要: A transmission device includes a first clutch and a second clutch that is disposed circumferentially inward of the first clutch so as to overlap with the first clutch as viewed from a radial direction. The first clutch includes a first clutch drum, a first clutch piston that is axially movable by hydraulic pressure supplied to a first engagement side oil chamber on an inner circumferential side of the first clutch drum, and a first cancel plate that defines together with the first clutch piston a first cancel oil chamber that cancels centrifugal hydraulic pressure. The first cancel plate is fastened between the first clutch drum and a second clutch drum of the second clutch.

摘要: An automatic transmission (11) includes a planetary gear set (PS), first to third clutches (C-1 to C-3), first to third brakes (B-1 to B-3), and a counter gear (100) that outputs shifted rotation. The counter gear (100) is placed axially on one side of the planetary gear set (PS), and the second brake (B-2) is placed axially on the opposite side from of the counter gear (100) from the planetary gear set (PS). The second brake (B-2) that does not make higher speed rotation than other clutches and brakes can thus be separated from the planetary gear set (PS), and other clutches and brakes and the counter gear (100) are arranged near the planetary gear set (PS). Thus, members having a large thickness are reduced in length, whereby the automatic transmission is made compact and reduced in weight.

A rotary electric machine MG is disposed coaxially with an input shaft M, and includes a stator St and a rotor Ro provided radially inwardly of the stator St. An oil pump 18 includes a pump case 90, 91 in which a pump chamber 18a is formed, and a pump rotor 18b rotatably housed in the pump chamber 18a. The pump rotor 18b is disposed coaxially with the input shaft M. A rotation sensor 19 is disposed radially outwardly of the pump chamber 18a and radially inwardly of the stator St of the rotary electric machine MG, and disposed to overlap the oil pump 18 as seen from the radial direction of the input shaft M.
