摘要: Disclosed is a wake-up system with passive correlators, adopted to wireless transmission/reception devices such as remote controllers, mobile communication terminals, etc. The wake-up system includes a transmitter and receiver. In the transmitter wake-up signals and delayed wake-up signals delayed by a predetermined delay time are correlated and coded, respectively, for transmission. In the receiver, signals transmitted from the transmitter and signals delayed by the predetermined delay time are correlated and decoded, respectively. The decoded signals are converted into DC switching voltage VSW for a switching operation of power, thereby performing a wake-up operation. The wake-up system with passive correlators can reduce consumption power for wake-up operations in a receiver such that correlation operations of a correlator including passive electrical elements such as a matched filter, etc. are performed at a transmitter and the receiver in the same fashion and wake-up signals are transformed into a signal for performing the wake-up operation in the receiver.

摘要: The present invention relates to a plasma display panel, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for driving a plasma display panel. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for driving the plasma display panel includes a temperature sensor that senses a temperature of the plasma display panel, an erase signal tilt control unit that controls a tilt of an erase signal for erasing charges within a cell of the plasma display panel depending on the sensed temperature, and a driving unit that supplies an initialization signal for initializing the cell, an address signal for selecting the cell and a sustain signal for generating a sustain discharge in the cell to the plasma display panel after the charges within the cell are erased using the erase signal. Accordingly, a stabilized discharge can be implemented in such a manner that an ambient temperature is sensed when the plasma display panel is driven, an erase signal is controlled according to the sensed ambient temperature, and the controlled erase signal is applied.

摘要: An apparatus and method of controlling a network-based robot are provided. The apparatus includes a first connection unit connecting to at least one application component server or content server through a network, a second connection unit connecting to a wireless internet sharing router to communicate with the robot, and a middleware receiving and storing an application component from the application component server, executing the application component to generate an operational command for the robot, sending the generated operational command to the robot, and processing information which is sent by the robot. The apparatus and method provide a quick response to sensor information from the robot without incurring a burden of connecting to various service servers and managing the connections on the robot. In addition, a size of an internal buffer of the robot is minimized to enable the robot to respond to neighbor environments in real time.

摘要: Provided are a sensor node device and method for supporting mobility of a mobile node in a sensor network. The sensor node device includes: a network interface for communicating with a sink node, at least one neighboring sensor node, and the mobile node; a mobility supervisor for detecting a location of the mobile node, and deciding a sensor node for a service of a data packet received through the network interface on the basis of the detected location; a transmission decision maker for deciding a transmission mode for the data packet received through the network interface according to the location of the mobile node; and a state reporter for reporting a transmission state of the data packet through the sensor node device. When the mobile node moves to a place where radio wave propagation areas of sensor nodes overlap each other, the radio wave intensity of each sensor node is detected to perform a handoff to the sensor node of the area having the strongest radio wave intensity. Thus, a ping-pong problem caused by unnecessary repeated handoff, and a delay problem caused by too slow handoff, can be prevented.
