摘要: A fuel cell in which the sealed portions formed at the peripheral edges of gas flow passages of a gas separating plate are turned so that they have a U-shaped cross section in the direction of the lamination so as to provide for elasticity. A filling member is filled in the interior of the sealed portions. This gas separating plate is used to respectively form gas flow passages through which different gas fluids are caused to flow so that they are electrochemically reacted in a pair of electrode reacting portions disposed with an electrolyte layer being interposed therebetween. In consequence, the sealed portions provided at the peripheral edges of the gas flow passages deform in accordance with the creep caused in the electrode reacting portions. This enables a balanced, adequate bearing pressure to be kept applied to the electrode reacting portions and the sealed portions, thereby enabling the fuel cell to be operated in an excellent gas sealed state for a long time.

摘要: A dielectric resonator microwave oscillator in which the gate of a FET is connected to a resonance circuit. An inductor is connected to the drain of the FET, and the output is taken from the source of the FET. This dielectric resonator microwave oscillator has enhanced negative resistance and positively starts the oscillation even when there is a low reflection coefficient of the resonance circuit. Using a circuit which consists of a capacitor and inductor between the source and the output terminal, a further increasing of negative resistance at the gate of the FET is obtained.

摘要: A computerized automated demand-based parts delivery management system and method is disclosed. Parts for use in a production facility are received at a warehouse and housed in storage inventory areas such as trailers parked in a yard. Data about the parts in storage inventory areas and their locations as well as an inventory of parts in the warehouse are stored in a database. A “demand pegging” operation is performed by viewing current delivery inventory levels within the warehouse and applying them to production demand data to determine when parts will be depleted from delivery inventory areas. The operation further identifies storage inventory areas that have the needed parts. Process times for transporting parts between locations are considered in determining task times for transporting parts from storage inventory areas to delivery inventory areas so parts are replenished in advance of the deplete time determined by the demand pegging operation.

摘要: A parts delivery management system and method that synchronizes production line side parts deliveries with a production schedule to facilitate delivering the right part to the right production line location at the right time. A consolidation center for receiving parts from suppliers is co-located with an assembly plant. Parts are received in returnable containers and organized for line side delivery according to the manufacturer's production schedule. Parts are delivered to production line locations using multi-cart “trains” that transport parts to the locations. Trains made of multiple carts are assembled throughout the production day and loaded with containers holding the parts that are then delivered line side. A delivery management system application executing on a computer receives production schedule data as well as part and container data to determine which parts are needed throughout the day at the various production line side locations and when they are needed.

The builtup structure includes, in the following order, a plurality of dielectric electrode strips having portions which are arranged in parallel to and kept away from one another, a first insulating layer, a plurality of discharge electrode strips each extending to intersect with the respective portions of the dielectric electrode strips, a second insulating layer having a plurality of openings to form part of an ion generating space region at individual intersected portions of said discharge electrode strips and said dielectric electrode strips, and a screen electrode which is provided to complete each ion generating space region in association with the second insulating layer and has a plurality of openings, through which ions are passed, corresponding to the respective ion generating space regions. The screen electrode is made of a member which is selected from the group consisting of metals, noble metals and alloys mainly composed of these metals and which has a melting point not lower than 1500.degree. C. Alternatively, the screen electrode may be made of a core member and a surface layer which is made of the above metal member, or an oxidation-resistant material such as an inorganic compound, a polymer or a metal alkoxide polymer.

摘要: In a waveguide-to-microstrip line coupling arrangement, a microstrip line is placed on an outer surface of a wall of a waveguide which is coupled with the microstrip line via a metallic post connected at its one end to a center strip conductor of the microstrip line and is inserted inside the waveguide via through-holes made in a ground plane of the microstrip line and in the wall of the waveguide where the diameter of the through-hole made in the ground plane is made smaller than that of the through-hole made in the wall of the waveguide. The waveguide has a short-circuited end and the metallic post is placed close to the short-circuited end. The coupling arrangement may be used in a microwave frequency converter having an microwave integrated circuit including a local oscillator and a mixer, where the MIC is located on an outer surface of a longitudinal wall extending from a short-circuited end to an open end.
