    摘要: A wind generator includes: a nacelle; a hub rotatably carried by the nacelle and including at least a pair of wind turbine blades; and an electricity producing generator including a stator and a rotor carried by the nacelle. The rotor is connected to the hub and rotatable in response to wind acting on the blades to rotate the rotor relative to the stator to generate electricity. A cooling system is carried by the nacelle and includes at least one ambient air inlet port opening through a surface of the nacelle downstream of the hub and blades, and a duct for flowing air from the inlet port in a generally upstream direction toward the hub and in cooling relation to the stator.

    摘要: In accordance with certain embodiments, the present invention provides a magnetizing system. This system includes a guide channel that is configured to receive a ferromagnetic element. When in this channel, a magnetic field source of the system is operable to magnetize the ferromagnetic element. Also, the exemplary system includes an actuation mechanism that drives the ferromagnetic element through the guide channel. Because a positioning mechanism of the system has aligned the guide channel with a slot of an electromagnetic machine component, the ferromagnetic element is routed through the channel and into the slot.

    摘要: A human-powered generator system for electric watercycles with a control means whereby the perceived mechanical properties of the pedal mechanism and electric pedal-powered generator are adjustable by the operator. The invention provides a means whereby the rotational inertia and damping of the input pedal mechanism, including generator, as perceived by the operator can be increased or decreased as desired. The control means with further properties such that the input pedal mechanism as perceived by the operator can be made to mimic that of bicycle; i.e., with large inertia when pedaling in the forward direction, a very low inertia when pedaling in the reverse direction, and a freewheeling clutch mechanism whereby the large inertia is disengaged when not pedaling in the forward direction with a forward torque. The control means further enable the electric watercycle to be perceived as coasting through the water when the operator takes a momentary break from pedaling, much like that of a bicycle coasting.

The rotor has a field winding and a voltage rectifying bridge circuit connected in parallel to the field winding. A plurality of firing circuits are connected the voltage rectifying bridge circuit. The firing circuit is configured to fire a signal at an angle of less than 90° or at an angle greater than 90°. The voltage rectifying bridge circuit rectifies the AC voltage to excite or de-excite the field winding.
