    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). Exemplary embodiment of the present invention provide a scheme for reducing feedback overhead when quantizing and feeding back channel state information in a MIMO system. A method for operating a receiver in a MIMO system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, includes the steps of: performing trellis coded quantization for channel information by using a codebook selected from a plurality of codebooks; and transmitting, to a transmitter, feedback information including the quantization result. The step of performing trellis-coded quantization for the channel information includes a step of truncating the channel information and codewords included in the selected codebook into multiple groups of channel vectors and multiple groups of codewords, respectively, and performing trellis-coded quantization for each of the groups of the channel vectors by using each of the groups of the codewords.

The present disclosure relates to a method for a transmission end to estimate a channel in a communication system supporting multiple input multiple output (MIMO)-based beamforming, the method comprising: a step of obtaining a candidate channel estimate of each of a plurality of candidate beam combinations by means of a channel estimation section corresponding to each of the plurality of candidate beam combinations, the combinations consisting of at least one transmission beam and at least one reception beam from among transmission beams of the transmission end and reception beams of a reception end, wherein the channel estimation section corresponding to each of the plurality of candidate beam combinations comprises a serving channel estimation section corresponding to a serving beam combination of the transmission end and the reception end, a channel gain estimation section of one candidate beam combination of the plurality of candidate beam combinations, and a channel estimation section of the candidate beam combination; and a step of obtaining an optimal channel estimation value of the transmission end and the reception end on the basis of the obtained candidate channel estimates.

In the method, when the small base station operates in a Low Duty operation Mode (LDM) in a superframe, a control signal including LDM operation information is generated. Only a subframe via which a preamble, a control signal including the LDM operation information, and a SuperFrame Header (SFH) are transmitted is transmitted during the superframe. When the small base station operates in a normal operation mode in a superframe, at least one of the control information and data is transmitted via at least one subframe of the superframe.

A method for cancelling self-interference in a full-duplex communication system is provided. The method comprises the steps of: cancelling cancellable self-interference components through an analog interference cancellation circuit, and estimating a channel state of an uplink channel and a channel state of a downlink channel on the basis of remaining residual self-interference components; estimating a channel capacity for each of possible beam combinations on the basis of the estimated uplink channel state and downlink channel state; selecting the beam combination having the largest channel capacity from among the possible beam combinations; and cancelling self-interference from a received signal on the basis of the selected beam combination.
