    摘要: A mechanism for laying a strip on a receiving surface rotating about a first axis. The mechanism includes a laying head moving along a second axis oriented parallel to the axis of rotation of the surface and along a third axis oriented parallel to a radial direction passing through the point of contact between the receiving surface and a strip applicator of the laying head. The laying head is rotatable about a front axis oriented substantially perpendicular to the second and third axes and passing through the contact point. the laying includes a device for estimating the value of the of the angle α formed by a tangent to the transverse profile of the surface and the second axis. The movements of the laying head are determined by the value of the angle α in such a way as to displace the laying head in a direction parallel to the tangent following the transverse profile of the receiving surface.

    摘要: During procedure such as a tire-recapping procedure, a strip of hot rubber mix of small width and thickness is applied by a collection block to a receiving surface of the tire as the tire is rotated relative to the collecting block. The hot rubber mix is supplied to the collecting block by an extrusion screw. The mix is advanced by the receiving surface through an extrusion orifice which forms the strip. A front surface of the collecting block converges toward an inlet of the extrusion orifice, causing the mix to be pressurized as a function of: the degree of convergence of the front wall and the speed of the receiving surface.

    摘要: A method of the type in which a strip of rubber is moved continuously from a rubber-supplier device to a consumer device. During the continuous movement and prior to reaching the consumer device, a portion, referred to as the residue, is taken continuously from the strip of rubber. The residue is taken by continuously cutting the strip of rubber. For example, the supplier device includes upstream storage means for storing the strip of rubber from which the strip is moved toward the extruder, and downstream storage means in which the residue is stored. After the strip of rubber on the upstream storage means has been used up, the upstream and downstream storage means are swapped with each other.
