摘要: A bend section is disposed on an insertion section. A rotary body, on which a proximal end portion of a wire for a bend operation, which has a distal end portion connected to the bend section, is rotatably supported in a large-diameter section. Driving force transmission portion, which converts linear movement of a working shaft that is operable in a linear direction to rotational movement of the rotary body, is provided in the large-diameter section. A driving source unit is detachably coupled to the large-diameter section on the proximal end side of the insertion section. The driving source unit is provided with operation section which linearly moves the working shaft, in accordance with an operation of a driving shaft that operates in a linear direction by a driving force from a driving motor.

摘要: An in vivo examination apparatus including an objective unit capable of being readily replaced during examination is provided. The in vivo examination apparatus includes a main body, a vibration suppressor configured to suppress vibrations in an examination region of an object under examination, and an objective optical system configured to observe the examination region where the vibrations are suppressed. The objective optical system and the vibration suppressor are attached to the main body. The objective optical system is attachable to and detachable from the main body in a direction crossing an optical-axis direction of the objective optical system.

摘要: The present invention provides a gas-barrier film which is produced through applying a layer containing a metallic compound to a surface of a processed-polymer layer produced from a mixture of a polyalcohol and at least one poly(meth)acrylic polymer selected from the group consisting of poly(meth)acrylic acids and partially neutralized poly(meth)acrylic acids. The invention also provides a laminated gas-barrier film containing the aforementioned gas-barrier film either surface of which is laminated on with a plastic film. The gas-barrier film exhibits excellent gas-barrier properties and can be produced through a simple, convenient process.

摘要: A gas barrier laminate having a laminated structure of at least two layers includes a gas barrier film (A) formed from a mixture containing polyvinyl alcohol and poly(meth)acrylic acid or a partially neutralized product thereof in a weight ratio ranging from 95:5 to 10:90, and having an oxygen permeability constant of 1.25.times.10.sup.-3 ml(STP).multidot.cm/m.sup.2 .multidot.h.multidot.atm{Pa} or smaller as measured under conditions of 30.degree. C. and 80% relative humidity, and a layer (B) formed from a thermoplastic resin. The film (A) and layer (B) are laminated contiguously to each other. A process for the production of a gas barrier laminate having a laminated structure of at least two layers comprises a step of forming a gas barrier film (A) having an oxygen permeability constant of 1.25.times.10.sup.-3 ml(STP).multidot.cm/m.sup.2 .multidot.h.multidot.atm{Pa} or smaller as measured under conditions of 30.degree. C. and 80% relative humidity, wherein a solution containing polyvinyl alcohol and poly(meth)acrylic acid or a partially neutralized product thereof in a weight ratio ranging from 95:5 to 10:90 is cast on a layer (B) formed from a thermoplastic resin, the solution cast is dried to form a film, and the dry film is then subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature of at least 100.degree. C. (373 K). The gas barrier film (A) and the layer (B) are contiguous to each other.

摘要: This solid state imaging apparatus is provided within the tip part of an insertable part of an endoscope and is provided with an image forming optical system for forming images. This image forming optical system forms an optical image on the imaging surface of a solid state imaging chip provided in the rear of this image forming optical system. This solid state imaging chip is affixed to a circuit substrate extending substantially at right angles with the imaging surface and electrically connected with the solid state imaging chip. This circuit substrate is connected with a signal cable transmitting input and output signals of the solid state imaging chip.

摘要: An endoscope apparatus for inspecting an object including an insertion section insertable into the object and having a distal end and a proximal end, an image guide arranged within the insertion section and having entrance and exit ends arranged at the distal and proximal ends of insertion section, respectively, an objective lens system arranged at the distal end of insertion section for forming an optical image of the object onto the entrance end of image guide, an eyepiece lens system arranged at the proximal end of insertion section for projecting the optical image transmitted through the image guide onto an observating position, a first piezo-electric bimorph arranged at the distal end of insertion section for vibrating the entrance end of image guide in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the insertion section over a given distance, a second piezo-electric element arranged at the proximal end of insertion section for vibrating the exit end of image guide in the same direction and over the same distance as those of the entrance end of image guide, so that annoying black mesh and Moire fringe are removed.

摘要: A first optical adapter is to be detachably mounted on the distal end of an endoscope having an observation optical system and an illumination optical system, in which an aperture diaphragm which has been disposed at a given position within the observation optical system of the endoscope in the past, is disposed instead within an observaiton optical system of the optical adapter such that its optical axis is in agreement with that of the observation optical system for the endoscope. The optical adapter is selected from a set of adapters having different F numbers or the optical adapter is provided with a set of different F number diaphragms which are interchangeable. This enables the F number of the observation optical system of the endoscope apparatus to be changed by merely selecting the appropriate front optical adapter or diaphragm, depending upon brightness of the observation optical system, depth of field and brightness of an object being observed, as well as observation range and view angle of the observation optical system and the like, in order to obtain a clear observation image with optimum brightness.
