    摘要: Handling a packet according to a gateway rule in a network gateway device ensures security. Centrally controlling the gateway rule in an administration center eliminates the need for individual user's consciousness of operation such as a firewall, which makes a network gateway system easy to use. Also, under certain conditions, the packet is handled according to a gateway rule in the network gateway device to reduce a network load. The administration center that holds and creates a gateway rule is provided. The network gateway device holds the gateway rule. When receiving a packet, if a gateway rule corresponding to the packet exists, the received packet is handled according to the gateway rule. If no gateway rule corresponding to the packet exists, the packet is transferred to the administration center, and then the corresponding gateway rule is received from the administration center so that update is performed.

In the method a superconducting layer is formed on a metal substrate interposed by an intermediate layer, the method including heating the metal substrate up to the film-formation temperature of a superconducting film for forming the superconducting layer, forming a superconducting film having a film thickness of at least 10 nm and no more than 200 nm on the intermediate layer, and reducing the metal substrate temperature to a level below the film-formation temperature of the superconducting film, and the superconducting film-formation, including the heating, the film-formation, and the cooling, are performed a plurality of times.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes: a conveyance path configured to guide a recording sheet conveyed from a sheet placement portion, passing through a sheet feeder unit, a nip portion between a photoconductor and transfer member, a fixing device, and a sheet ejection unit in this order; and a re-conveyance path configured to guide the sheet conveyed from the fixing device to an upstream-side path which constitutes part of the conveyance path extending upstream from the photoconductor. The re-conveyance path branches off from the conveyance path at a position downstream from the fixing device and extends to pass through a space between the photoconductor and the exposure device. The re-conveyance path includes a switchback mechanism configured to reverse a traveling direction of a sheet conveyed along the re-conveyance path after passing through the space between the photoconductor and the exposure device and to convey the sheet toward the upstream-side path.
