    摘要: An information recording/reproducing device irradiates a signal light beam containing arbitrary two-dimensional information and a reference beam emitted from the same light source as the signal light beam to an arbitrary region of a hologram recording medium to record a first hologram. After the first hologram is recorded, the device changes the incident angle of the signal light beam with respect to the hologram recording medium and multiplex-records a second hologram, which is different from the first hologram, in the same region as the region in which the first hologram is recorded by irradiating a signal light beam whose incident angle has been changed and a reference beam substantially the same as the reference beam used when recording the first hologram while the device obtains at least a part of a diffracted beam from the first hologram simultaneously.

    摘要: An object is to prevent lowering of a dynamic range of a hologram recording medium without lowering an average data transfer rate, and to provide stabilized recording sensitivity. A scheduler determines a recording interval time from the point of time when light is irradiated to record a certain hologram of holograms to be multiplex-recorded to the point of time when light is irradiated to record a succeeding hologram in such a manner that at least parts of the holograms are recorded one over the other in a certain recording area. A recording interval time controller controls a light source to irradiate the light depending on the recording interval time determined by the scheduler.

    摘要: The present application discloses a see-through display device a light source configured to emit light, a projection optical system configured to project image light generated from the light; a transmissive hologram including a first surface which the image light enters from the projection optical system; and an interface configured to cause Fresnel reflection of the image light deflected by the hologram. The hologram includes a first interference fringe recorded by object light and reference light which are incident on the first surface by means of two-light flux interference. The image light incident on the first surface is deflected by the first interference fringe toward the interface. The interface reflects the image light toward the first surface.

    摘要: A holographic optical information playback apparatus for playing information that is recorded on a recording medium in a form of interference fringes is provided with a two-dimensional photoreceptor array which receives a two-dimensional array of light spots that is diffracted at the recording medium due to application of reference light onto the medium, and outputs a playback signal including information recorded on the recording medium. The two-dimensional photoreceptor array has a photoreceptor section in which plural photoreceptor cells for detecting the intensities of received lights are arranged so that a photoreceptive area corresponding to the light spot array is formed, and assigns plural photoreceptor cells are assigned to each light spot in the light spot array according to the irradiation position of the light spot array, whereby the light intensity of one light sport is detected using the output signals from the plural photoreceptor cells.

    摘要: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device capable of performing image display with more adequate white level, during an operation of displaying an image which requires emphasizing white. A backlight illuminator for illuminating a liquid crystal display panel comprises a white light source adapted to generate white light, in addition to a laser source adapted to generate red light, blue light and green light. When an image to be displayed on a liquid crystal display panel requires emphasizing white, white light from the white light source is emitted to a liquid crystal display panel, in addition to red light, blue light and green light from the laser source. This makes it possible to display the image which requires emphasizing white, in the form of an image with more natural image quality.
