Abstract: Exemplary systems, methods, and apparatuses may direct an application processor of an embedded computing device to: detect an operational mode selection command received from an application being executed by the application processor, the operational mode selection command selecting, from a plurality of operational modes, an operational mode of the application; determine connection statuses of a plurality of wireless network interfaces of the embedded computing device; determine, in accordance with a wireless network configuration optimization heuristic, and based on the detected operational mode selection command and the determined connection statuses of the plurality of wireless network interfaces, a state configuration for the plurality of wireless network interfaces; and direct the plurality of wireless network interfaces to operate in accordance with the state configuration.

Abstract: A user device presents a user interface (UI) that enables user selection or entry of configuration parameters for configuring a location spoofing detection service to be performed for at least one wireless device. The user device receives, via the UI, configuration parameters that comprise one or more user-selected location determining sources, selected from among multiple different location determining sources presented via the UI, for use in performing the location spoofing detection service. The user device sends the configuration parameters to another device for configuring the location spoofing detection service for the at least one wireless device.

Abstract: A user equipment (“UE”) described herein may use automated techniques to receive one or more mode triggers, each including one or more sensor profiles. The UE may monitor data from one or more sensors associated with the UE and may compare the data to the profiles. The UE may determine that the sensor data matches a profile; and may disable one or more wireless features. The UE may continue to monitor sensor data and may determine that an exit trigger condition has been satisfied based on the received data. The exit trigger condition may specify a particular mode trigger; and a set of exit sensor profiles that corresponds to an exit of the particular mode trigger. The UE may, based on determining that the exit trigger condition has been satisfied, activate one or more wireless features. The sensor profiles and/or exit trigger conditions may be received from a cloud-based entity.

Abstract: A network device receiving subscription data for Internet of Things (IoT) devices for subscribing to an IoT device cellular network service, and receives configuration data for configuring the IoT device cellular network service for the IoT devices, where the configuration data identifies a first device location determining source and a second device location determining source. The network device initiates provisioning of the IoT device cellular network service for the one or more IoT devices, receives primary location data, generated by the first device location determining source, associated with a first IoT device, and receives secondary location data, generated by the second device location determining source, associated with the first IoT device. The network device determines one of a plurality of confidence levels associated with the first IoT device being located at a primary location based on one or more confidence thresholds, the primary location data, and the secondary location data.

Abstract: A network device identifies Internet of Things (IoT) devices present on a Long Term Evolution, category M1 (LTE Cat-M1) network in a service area with connectivity to a wireless station; determines a reporting configuration currently associated with each of the IoT devices, wherein each of the reporting configurations are based on a reporting requirement for an initiation of reporting instances via the LTE Cat-M1 network; performs an analysis of the reporting configurations to identify a potential signal loading reduction over the LTE Cat-M1 network and/or a potential power consumption reduction related to the reporting configuration associated with at least one of the IoT devices; modifies, based on the analysis, the reporting configuration of the at least one IoT device to enable the potential signal loading reduction and/or the potential power consumption reduction; and transmits, to the at least one IoT device, a message identifying the modified reporting configuration.

Abstract: A device may include a memory storing instructions and processor configured to execute the instructions to maintain an Internet of Things (IoT) device database that stores, for an IoT device in the IoT device database, an application server device list that includes one or more application server devices that are to be notified when the IoT device is determined to be in an awake state. The processor may be further configured to receive a first indication from a first application server device that the IoT device is in an awake state; access the IoT device database to identify a second application server device associated with the IoT device; and send a second indication to the second application server device that the IoT device is in the awake state based on the received first indication from the first application server device.
