    摘要: The present disclosure involves a lighting apparatus. The lighting apparatus includes a photonic device that generates light. The lighting apparatus includes a printed circuit board (PCB) on which the photonic device is located. The lighting apparatus includes a diffuser cap having a curved profile covering the PCB and the photonic device. The diffuser cap has a textured surface for scattering light generated by the photonic device. The lighting apparatus includes a thermally conductive cup that surrounds the diffuser cap and thermal conductively coupled to the PCB. The cup has a reflective inner surface that reflects light transmitting through the diffuser cap. The lighting apparatus includes a heat dissipation structure for dissipating heat generated by the photonic device. The heat dissipation structure is thermally coupled to the cup.

    摘要: A lighting device includes a first heat sink having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, a second heat sink having a third surface and a fourth surface opposite the third surface. The third surface of the second heat sink is bonded to the second surface of the first heat sink. The lighting device further includes a plurality of first light emitting diode (LED) modules mounted on the first surface of the first heat sink; and a plurality of second light emitting diode (LED) modules mounted on the fourth surface of the second heat sink. One or more the first LED modules generally radiates lights in a first direction. One or more the second LED modules generally radiates lights in a second direction. The first and second LED modules are covered by respective non-reflective caps. The first LED module and the second LED module are configured to be selectively turned on or off according to a predefined algorithm. The first LED modules are arranged on an outer region of the lighting device, and the second LED modules are arranged on an inner region of the lighting device. The inner region is circumferentially surrounded by the outer region.

    摘要: Method of fabricating patterned layers using lift-off processes is disclosed. A patterned stacked layer is formed on a substrate. The patterned stacked layer consists of a sacrificed layer and a photoresist layer, which covers and extends out of the sacrificed layer. Next, a film layer having a thickness smaller than that of the sacrificed layer is formed on the patterned stacked layer and gaps between the patterned stacked layer. Then, the photoresist layer and the film layer disposed on the photoresist layer are removed using a lift-off process; finally the sacrificed layer is removed.

    摘要: An LED illumination lens can guide light from light emitting diodes (LEDs). The incident surface and transmission surface of the lens are a part of an elliptical shape. The present invention makes an optical lens which provides that light is refracted twice by the LED illumination lens, and the output light is more uniform and present a long elliptical output light. The curve surface of the transmission surface is selected from elliptical surfaces, rectangular surfaces, square shape surfaces, round surfaces and rectangular surfaces with a cut corner, and polygonal surfaces. An LED illumination lens serves to refract the light beam from the LED by the incident surface and then disperse by the transmission surface 12 into a slender and long elliptical light beam.

    摘要: A method of fabricating a liquid crystal panel is provided. First, a first substrate having a pixel array thereon is provided. Next, a sealing frame is formed on the first substrate around the pixel array. Next, a liquid crystal inkjet printing step is conducted to the region surrounded by the sealing frame to perform an alignment process. Then, the liquid crystal inkjet printing step is still performed to fill a liquid crystal material within the region surrounded by the sealing frame. Thereafter, a second substrate having an electrode layer thereon is provided. Then, the first and second substrates are assembled together through the sealing frame.

The lower portion is arranged to be disposed over the LED die. A first optical path length from an edge of the LED die to a top center of the microstructure lens is substantially the same as a second optical path length from the edge of the LED die to a side of the micro-structure lens.

A first oval-shaped projection surface and a second oval-shaped projection surface are formed side by side to a center area of the projection surface. Two symmetric outer connecting surfaces are formed to two lateral sides of the projection surface. The two adjacent oval-shaped projection surfaces are convex and larger than the incident surface.
