    摘要: In a handheld type four-cycle engine, a valve operation mechanism includes a camshaft rotatably supported in a cylinder head so as to open and close an intake valve and an exhaust valve and a timing transmission placed on one side outside an engine main body and providing association between a crankshaft and the camshaft, and a centrifugal clutch for power output is mounted on the crankshaft on the opposite side outside the engine main body. The timing transmission and the centrifugal clutch being positioned at the two ends of the crankshaft improves the weight balance, the centre of gravity of the engine can be made as close to the central part of the crankshaft as possible, which, together with the reduced weight, can enhance the operability of the engine.

    摘要: A balancer shaft is supported between a right case and a left case in parallel with a crankshaft. A balancer driven gear and a first balance weight are provided at one end with the balancer driven gear being interlocked with the crankshaft. The outer diameter R2 of a maximum diameter of the first balance weight is larger relative to a root circle diameter R1 of the balancer driven gear. The first balance weight is attached to an outside face of the balancer driven gear. A fitting end of a driving shaft is fitted into a fitting hole provided in the core at the end on the side on which the balancer driven gear is provided of the balancer shaft. The fitting end and the fitting hole are coupled to be integrally rotated and for driving a water pump. A second balance weight is integrated with the other end of the balancer shaft. A gear for driving an accessory is integrated with the base of the second balance weight and is engaged with an oil pump gear for driving an oil pump.

The first exhaust passage generally extends on a first side of the outboard motor. The first lubricant passage generally extends on a second side of the outboard motor opposite to the first side.     摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a crankcase in which a crankshaft is held. An oil guide housing is positioned beneath the crankcase, and an oil pump with a drive sprocket for supplying lubricating oil is positioned in the crankcase. The oil pump supplies lubricating oil to consumers from an oil trap in the oil guide housing. The sprocket is encompassed by a cover, and resources are provided in the sprocket cover for scraping/separating lubricating oil that has been drawn along out of the oil trap in the direction of the crankcase by a chain that drives the sprocket. In this manner, the lubricating oil that is drawn and/or carried along by the drive chain is prevented from entering the crankcase and/or the cylinder head of the internal combustion engine.

    摘要: The reciprocating engine comprises a rocker valve gear, pistons (1) which are fastened to a connecting rod (2) and connected by crankshaft journals (3) to a crankshaft (4), a balancer (5), and a camshaft (10) which is driven by the crankshaft (4) and in turn actuates rockers (11), the mentioned elements being arranged in a crankcase having a cylinder head (24) and cylinder head cover (14). For substantially easier assembly and maintenance, the cylinder head (24) is provided with integrally cast or screwed-on receivers (16) serving for the attachment of the hollow camshaft (10) without requiring separately fastened bearing blocks. Correspondingly, the cylinder head (24) comprises further integrally cast or screwed-on receivers (15, 15A, 25) which serve for the attachment of the hollow rockers (11) without requiring separately fastened bearing blocks. According to another embodiment of the invention, the camshaft (10), the tensioning wheel (7), and the counter-rotating balancer (5) are driven by the camshaft (4) through a single chain (8) arranged in line with the camshaft, thus allowing a compact construction.
