Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining data pertaining to a communication service facilitated at least in part by a first gateway located in a building, the communication service involving at least a first user equipment, analyzing the data to determine that a processing load supported by the first gateway exceeds a first threshold, wherein the first threshold is expressed as a function of a capacity of the first gateway, resulting in a determination, and based on the determination, performing an action that causes the processing load supported by the first gateway to be reduced to a level that is less than the first threshold. Abstract: A method for accessing a gateway and an apparatus are disclosed, relate to the field of communication technologies, and are applied to a network system including a virtual broadband network gateway (vBNG), where the vBNG includes a control plane (CP) device and a plurality of user plane (UP) devices managed by the CP device, and the network system further includes a user plane steering function (USF) device. The method includes: The USF device obtains user information of a target terminal; the USF device determines a target UP device in the plurality of UP devices based on the user information and load of the plurality of UP devices; and the USF device indicates the target terminal to access the target UP device. Therefore, an appropriate UP device is selected for the target terminal in the network system including the vBNG, and load balancing between the plurality of UP devices is implemented.

Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure provides a method of a user device in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving, on one bandwidth part (BWP) among multiple BWPs, multiple discovery signals; on the basis of a delay spread value of each of the multiple discovery signals, transmitting, on the one BWP, allocation information of BWPs remaining after excluding the one BWP among the multiple BWPs; and receiving, on the remaining BWPs, multiple sidelink control signals and data signals, wherein it is configured that only an extended CP is to be used on the one BWP, and only a normal CP is to be used on the remaining BWPs. The user device is an autonomous driving vehicle or is included in an autonomous driving vehicle.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for implementing a publish and subscribe communication system utilizing a load balancer and task schedulers are provided. Subscription requests are received from subscribers for subscribing to a topic published by a publisher. An external subscription list is maintained to track communication address information of the subscribers. A number of task schedulers are created based upon a count of subscribers within the external subscription list. The subscribers are assigned to the task schedulers such that a number of subscribers assigned to a task scheduler is limited according to a subscriber assignment limit. In response to the publisher creating data to publish to the topic, the task schedulers are controlled to use the communication address information to directly transfer data of the topic to the subscribers assigned to the task schedulers.

Abstract: A system and method for exchanging data between a shore terminal and one or more ship terminals is illustrated. For this purpose, one or more data partitions are maintained in a message store at the shore terminal, wherein each data partition corresponds to a ship terminal from the one or more ship terminals. Further, one or more packets are received from enterprise applications running at the shore terminal. Packet comprises a payload and a meta-information, wherein the payload corresponds to data which is to be exchanged and the meta-information corresponds to an address associated with destination. Meta-information is used to store the received packets to their corresponding data partitions. Further, on establishing a stable network connection between the target ship and the message store, the payload is then transmitted from the data partitions at the message store to their corresponding destination.

Abstract: Relay service is enabled between a residential gateway and a remote user. For example, a 5G residential gateway (5G-RG) may include a relay user equipment (UE) to enable relay service for a 5G core (5GC)-capable UE behind the 5G-RG to connect to the 5GC. The relay UE of the 5G-RG may provide a trusted/untrusted non-3GPP access network for L2 or L3 transport connection to the 5GC-capable UE.

Abstract: A control plane (CP) function for session management performs a procedure for establishing local traffic offloading for a user equipment (UE) in a mobile network having an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and Fifth Generation (5G) converged core that supports communications via a Long-Term Evolution (LTE) radio access network (RAN) and a Fifth Generation (5G) RAN. Initially, a connection is established for the UE via the LTE RAN that includes a first bearer between the LTE RAN and a central serving gateway-user plane (SGW-U) at a central location, and a second bearer between the central SGW-U and a central packet gateway-user plane (PGW-U) at the central location. The CP function inserts a local SGW-U at an edge location and subsequently inserts a local intermediate user plane function (I-UPF) with an uplink classifier (UL-CL) at the edge location for enabling edge offload of traffic from the LTE RAN.
