The method includes the following steps: (i) providing a plate; (ii) applying a primer by means of a liquid curtain of coating material on/to a main surface of the plate; (iii) optionally drying and/or curing the primer; (iv) treating the surface of the primer by means of at least one of the following measures: a) corona treatment; b) plasma treatment; c) applying an oil in an aqueous dilution and (v) applying a decorative decor.

摘要: Described herein are methods for installing field-assembled flooring systems wherein the underlayment is a hybrid design that includes a combination of structural board and cementitious product. The hybrid design is configured to reduce or eliminate the curing time requirement after pouring the cementitious product (e.g., gypsum concrete). The field-assembled flooring systems can reduce or eliminate the chances of the onset of mold due to high moisture levels by removing the cementitious product from the prone areas and replacing it with structural boards. The structural boards (e.g., cellulose fiberboards) can be installed in non-critical areas such as underneath cabinets, around the perimeter of the floor, under bathtubs, in non-walk-in closets, anywhere drywall reaches the floor, or the like.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a physically crosslinked, closed cell continuous multilayer foam structure comprising at least one foam polypropylene/polyethylene layer with a TPU cap layer. The multilayer foam structure can be obtained by coextruding a multilayer structure comprising at least one foam composition layer with at least one cap composition layer, irradiating the coextruded structure with ionizing radiation, and continuously foaming the irradiated structure.

The underlayment can be a hybrid design that includes a combination of isolation panels and cementitious product. The field-assembled flooring systems can use mold-resistant isolation boards to reduce or eliminate the chances of the onset of mold and effects from water damage. The isolation boards can be installed on floors alone, on walls alone, or on both floors and walls to reduce the onset of mold and/or to reduce damage from water.

摘要: An impact damping mat comprises a plurality of layers arranged in a stacked formation. The stacked formation has a total thickness of no greater than 4 7/16 inches. The plurality of layers cooperate to provide the impact damping mat with at least one of a coefficient of restitution no greater than 30% and a selected sound reduction characteristic. The selected sound reduction characteristic can be a reduction of a maximum sound level of at least 5 dB from 40 to 63 Hz ⅓ octave bands and at least 13 dB at and above 80 Hz ⅓ octave bands normalized to a conventional ⅜ inch rollout rubber flooring product.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a clip for securing a support channel in an acoustical ceiling mount and a building construction having a wall, flooring, or ceiling assembly that displays improved acoustic characteristics. The clip includes a body having a penetration-resistant base, a channel interface extending outwardly from a portion of the base configured to engage the support channel, and an opening in another portion of the base, a grommet engaged in the opening of the body, and an insert engaged in the grommet. The channel interface includes at least a first slot configured to receive a channel fastener to secure the support channel to the clip. The clip may be operatively coupled with a support channel and disposed in a building construction between the support channel and a finished interior element.
