    摘要: A method for controlling a flow of air includes establishing a level of vacuum in a booster device by generating the flow of air from the booster device using a pump. The method also includes determining whether the level of vacuum in the booster device has reached a predetermined value. The method additionally includes terminating the flow of air from the booster device when the level of vacuum in the booster device has reached the predetermined value. A system for controlling a flow of air according to the method may be incorporated into a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine that is adapted to drive the pump.

The brake override system detects the brake operation by a brake switch when the accelerator operation followed by the brake operation results in the simultaneous performance of the accelerator operation and the brake operation. Thus, the system may accurately detect the brake operation regardless of the order of the accelerator operation and the brake operation.

    摘要: A control device for an electric parking brake controls a motor for driving a friction member of the electric parking brake. The control device includes a processing unit which starts the motor in order to drive the friction member to a direction for placing the electric parking brake in a locked state; measures a current value of the motor in an operating state thereof; determines a cut-off current value from the measured current value of the motor according to a predetermined rule defining a correlation between the cut-off current value of the motor, by which a braking force necessary for the electric parking brake in the locked state is generated, and an increasing rate of the current; and stops the motor when the current value of the motor reaches the determined cut-off current value.

    摘要: A system for managing braking of an automotive vehicle including an assisted parking brake with at least one brake actuator capable of acting on at least one wheel of the vehicle and a mechanism applying the parking brake. The system includes a mechanism automatically increasing firmness with which the parking brake is applied after the vehicle engine stops, which includes a module that detects stopping of the engine and a module that commands an increase in the firmness of application. The module is configured to emit a signal characteristic of the stopping of the engine as a function of a status of the engine and of a status of an electrical supply. The module is configured to emit a signal demanding an increase in the firmness of application as a function of a status of the brake actuators and of signal characteristic of the stopping of the engine that comes from the module.
