摘要: Embodiments described methods, systems and apparatuses to utilize a plurality of membrane cartridges and a housing frame comprising a lightweight corrosion resistant material (e.g., non-corrosive metals, non-corrosive composites such as PVC, HDPE and FRP). The anti-corrosive properties of said frame allow of it to be re-used (e.g., with replaced MBR filters). Said MBR frame may be used in a single function or multi-function wastewater treatment container. Said container may also include a corrosion resistant liner coupled to interior portions of each of the base and side walls of the basin, an inlet to receive wastewater treatment influent into the basin, and an outlet to output wastewater treatment process material from the basin.

摘要: A media bed in a biological reactor is backwashed in a plurality of short pulses. An outlet of the reactor is preferably located above, but close to, the top of the bed. During a pulse, the outlet is closed and the bed may be fluidized or otherwise expanded to above the level of the outlet. Between pulses, the bed settles to below the level of the outlet.

摘要: A media bed reactor may be used to remove selenium from water. An exemplary reactor has a fluid injection system with one or more outlets located within the media bed. The fluid injection system may be connected to a source of gas, liquid or both. In a selenium treatment process, a denitrification zone forms above a selenium-reducing zone in the media bed. Operation of the reactor includes a step of flowing a fluid upwards through only an upper part of the bed. This upper part of the bed preferably contains at least most of the denitrification zone.

摘要: Water treatment equipment for recirculating aquaculture contains: at least one aquaculture tank, an aeration unit, at least one water circulating tank, a plurality of membrane filtering units and a water returning unit. Each aquaculture tank includes plural connecting plate units and a flowing cup; the aeration unit includes a plurality of air supply pipes. Each water circulating tank includes a nitration reacting chamber and an accommodating chamber, and the nitration reacting chamber has a flow tube outwardly extending to the flowing cup and a nitrifying bacteria layer fixed therein. Each membrane filtering unit is a circularly flat membrane and includes a water pipe and plural disc-shaped film bags, wherein each film bag has two filtering films communicating with the water pipe; and the water returning unit is fixed outside each aquaculture tank and includes a pump and a water return tube.

摘要: The invention relates to a wastewater treatment plant, specifically a modular plant for the treatment of organic wastewater, in which the number of devices depends on the amount of water to be treated and on the quality of the starting water and that required for the water at the end of the process. The treatment plant includes multiple devices, each representing a treatment step, and the devices can be connected in series, in parallel or in series and parallel. In addition, the devices used in the process are designed to require a minimum amount of maintenance, owing to the inclusion of a self-cleaning system. Since the system requires minimal power and maintenance, it is considered optimal for use in rural communities, livestock farms or buildings.

摘要: A desalination system (100) having an intake unit (110) providing seawater to a pre-treatment unit (120) connected to a reverse osmosis (RO) desalination unit (130) and a post treatment unit (150). The desalination system (100) is configured to operate without any external addition of chemicals to simplify logistics and regulation concerns. The units of the system are configured to prevent biofouling, scaling and corrosion by mechanical and biological means including high flow speeds, biological flocculation of colloids, and making the water entering the RO units inhospitable to bacteria and other organisms that cause biofouling, hence preventing their settlement and removing them with the brine. Recovery rate is lowered and energy is recovered to increase the energetic efficiency and minerals that are added to the product water are taken from the brine.

A floating media is positioned in the housing and forms a static media bed when the filter is in a filtration stage. A diffuser trough is positioned in the filter housing such that the lower surface of the media bed, when the filter is in the filtration stage, is below the upper edge of the diffuser trough. A backwashing mechanism causes dispersion of the media bed during the backwashing stage.

摘要: The present invention provides an aeration lateral system designated to be site specific for new septic disposal areas or retro fitting to existing septic disposal areas to break up the biological clogging slug mat at the interface of the wastewater and imported sand or native soil fill under or adjacent to disposal areas of a typical septic system. The lateral system provides uniform or other site specific distribution of fluids about the bio-mat of a wastewater disposal area, with lateral spacing and hole spacing varying based on the type of disposal area being utilized. The lateral system can also be utilized to provide continuous low volume air supply system to a wastewater disposal area or peat filter module. The air lateral installation includes methods to minimize airflow disturbance of the soil and methods to prevent air leakage.
