Abstract: A device for treating hemorrhoids includes a first ligating member which moves between a first position in which the first member is tightened to a degree required to maintain a desired position of the first member around the first portion without significantly cutting off blood flow and a second configuration in which the first member is cinched down around the first portion to substantially cut off blood flow to the encircled first portion. Also, the device includes a first applicator having a proximal lumen and first and second opposed distal lumens open to the proximal lumen. The first member is extending from a proximal end distally through the proximal lumen into the first lumen to exit a distal end of the first lumen, loop around and enter the distal end of the second lumen. The first member is passing through the second lumen into the proximal lumen.

Abstract: A user interface for a thrombectomy fluid management system may include a first mode indicator configured to indicate when a first mode of fluid inflow is active, a second mode indicator configured to indicate when a second mode of fluid inflow is active, and a run time display including an alphanumeric run time value shown in a first color. The alphanumeric run time value is a sum of a first run time value of the first mode and a second run time value of the second mode. The system may include an inflow pump configured to provide fluid inflow through a thrombectomy device, a controller in communication with the inflow pump and the thrombectomy device, a user activation switch configured to activate the inflow pump, and a display including the user interface. The display may include a touchscreen user interface.

Abstract: Blood stagnation within a left atrial appendage (LAA) may be reduced by creating movement within the LAA. A variety of different actuatable devices, including magnetically actuated devices, may be implanted within the LAA. The actuatable device may be caused to become actuated, thereby causing the motion within the LAA. In some cases, causing the actuatable device to become actuated may include application of a magnetic field. In some cases, causing the actuatable device to become actuated may include subjecting the actuatable device to blood flow within the LAA.

Abstract: An adaptor for modifying pre-existing delivery system to improve delivery of an injectable treatment material through the delivery system. The delivery system is a pre-existing delivery system formed separately and without regard to the manufacture of the adaptor. The delivery system includes an administration set and a catheter set coupled together in fluid communication via a manifold. The injectable treatment material may be in the form of microspheres or microbeads which may become held up within the void space of the pre-existing manifold of the delivery system. The adaptor reconfigures the interior of the manifold to facilitate complete flow of the injectable treatment material therethrough without getting hung up or otherwise caught within the manifold and not delivered to a patient.
