Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a message broadcast method, a base station, and user equipment. The message broadcast method includes: determining, by a base station, a piece of system subgroup information of system information of a first cell, where each piece of system subgroup information includes system information content that is applied to a user equipment group that corresponds to the system subgroup information. The method also includes broadcasting, to the user equipment group, the system subgroup information that corresponds to the user equipment group. In such a manner, system information that is generated due to a requirement of a new technology can be effectively reduced, and user equipment can be prevented from receiving information unrelated to the user equipment and triggering unnecessary behavior.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a signal transmission method and device. The method includes: determining, by a sending device, a target precoding matrix V, where V=(H)−1·{tilde over (H)}, H indicates a channel matrix between the sending device and a receiving device, {tilde over (H)} indicates an equivalent channel matrix between the sending device and the receiving device, ({tilde over (H)}H·{tilde over (H)}) or ({tilde over (H)}·{tilde over (H)}H) is a diagonal matrix, and {tilde over (H)} is related to a transmission distance D between the sending device and the receiving device and an element spacing of an antenna of the receiving device; and sending, by the sending device, a signal to the receiving device according to the target precoding matrix V. Because {tilde over (H)} meets a characteristic that ({tilde over (H)}H·{tilde over (H)}) or ({tilde over (H)}·{tilde over (H)}H) is a diagonal matrix, a channel corresponding to {tilde over (H)} can support multiple data stream transmission. Therefore, the signal transmission method and device provided in the embodiments of the present invention can support multiple data stream transmission.

Abstract: Disclosed a method and an apparatus for configuring and transmitting a pilot, the method includes: a UE determines, according to a partitioned resource set, a parameter for generating an initial value of a demodulation pilot sequence; generates an initial value of the demodulation pilot sequence on the first resource set according to the first parameter, and generates an initial value on the second resource set according to the second parameter; and obtains the demodulation pilot sequence according to the initial value. In embodiments of the present invention, since parameters for calculating the initial value of the demodulation pilot sequence are respectively configured according to a pre-partitioned resource set, the initial value can be calculated according to the resource set to which the E-PDCCH belongs and the set parameter, thus obtaining the demodulation pilot sequence for demodulating the E-PDCCH, so as to improve demodulation performance of the E-PDCCH.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting channel quality information. User equipment receives a control signaling for uplink scheduling. The control signaling for uplink scheduling includes at least one modulation and coding scheme (MCS) field, a channel quality information request field, and a resource block allocation field indicating the number of resource blocks (RBs), NRB, allocated to the user equipment for transmitting the channel quality information. When the channel quality information of multiple downlink carriers is requested, the user equipment transmits only the channel quality information on the uplink shared channel according to the allocated RBs if: the MCS bit field corresponding to one transport block indicates a MCS corresponding to a retransmitted data packet; the request bit field indicates a request for the channel quality information; and the NRB is equal to or less than 4*N, wherein N is a positive integer and corresponds to the number of multiple downlink carriers.
