Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for receiving a broadcast content via one or more networks. The apparatus comprises a broadcast network interface for receiving broadcast streams including first protocol packets including first portions of the broadcast content via a broadcast network, a heterogeneity network interface for receiving second protocol packets including a second portion of the broadcast content via a heterogeneity network, and a processor for configuring the broadcast content using the first protocol packets and the second protocol packets based on information included in the third protocol packets.

Abstract: A method includes compressing headers of Internet Protocol (IP) packets in an IP packet stream to output a compressed IP packet stream, wherein the compressed IP packet stream includes Initialization Refresh (IR) packets, a first group of IR-dynamic packets, and compressed IP packets, extracting context information from the compressed IP packet stream, building signaling information including the context information, encapsulating the signaling information into one or more link layer packets of a first group and the compressed IP packet stream into link layer packets of a second group that are distinct from the one or more link layer packets of the first group, and transmitting broadcast signals including the one or more link layer packets of the first group and the link layer packets of the second group that correspond to a plurality of data pipes.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. The method includes, formatting input streams into Data Pipe (DP) data, Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) encoding the DP data according to a code rate, bit interleaving the LDPC encoded DP data, mapping the hit interleaved DP data onto constellations, building at least one signal frame including the mapped DP data, and modulating data in the built signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) method and transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data, wherein the input streams include Audio/Video (A/V) data and service guide data, and wherein the Audio/Video (A/V) data and service guide data are included in first ISO base media file format (ISOBMFF) files.
