Abstract: In association with unit and integration testing of a software application, a test conflict guard can detect whether test cases are independent and use distinct database data, or are related or dependent test cases that use the same database data. The test conflict guard can detect any related or dependent test cases in a group of test cases, which may cause testing errors if executed in different parallel threads. The test conflict guard can accordingly block test execution until the group of test cases are verified as independent test cases.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for virtual visualization of overall regions are disclosed. Images of an overall region may be obtained by a server and used to generate a virtual model of the overall region. The server may generate a virtual environment that includes the virtual model of the overall region. A user may indicate a specific area of the virtual environment. The server may then dispatch an imaging vehicle to the location of the indicated area to capture additional image data representative of the indicated area. This additional set of image data may be used by the server to generate higher resolution virtual models of the indicated area that are integrated into the virtual environment.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining risk associated with operation of autonomous vehicles using autonomous communication are provided. According to certain aspects, autonomous operation features associated with a vehicle may be determined, including features associated with autonomous communication between vehicles or with infrastructure. This information may be used to determine risk levels for a plurality of features, which may be based upon test data regarding the features or actual loss data. Expected use levels and autonomous communication levels may further be determined and used with the risk levels to determine a total risk level associated with operation of the vehicle. The autonomous communication levels may indicate the types of communications, the levels of communication with other vehicles or infrastructure, or the frequency of autonomous communication. The total risk level may be used to determine or adjust aspects of an insurance policy associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: Example systems and methods for manipulating control of sump pumps in order to extend lifespans of the sump pumps are disclosed. An example method includes activating a sump pump a first time; deactivating the sump pump when a first current water level in a sump basin in which the sump pump is disposed reaches a first low-water mark; and determining, by one or more processors, a time since a last activation of the sump pump wherein the last activation occurred when the sump pump activated the first time. When the time satisfies a threshold, the method activates the sump pump at second time, determines, by one or more processors, a second current water level in the sump basin, and in response to determining that the second current water level in the sump basin is below a second low-water mark corresponding to a bottom of an impeller of the sump pump, deactivates the sump pump.

In some embodiments, information indicating an update to a vehicle feature, and accident record information may be received. A first dataset from before the update was implemented in the vehicle, and a second dataset from after the update was implemented in the vehicle may then be constructed. An effectiveness score may then be calculated based upon the first and second datasets.
