Abstract: A device for closing a tissue opening includes a body extending from a first end to a second end and a first anchoring element connected to the first end of the body and a second anchoring element connected to the second end of the body. At least one of the first anchoring element and the second anchoring element is movable between an insertion configuration, in which the at least one of the first and second anchoring elements is insertable through a target tissue such that the body extends across a tissue opening to be treated, and an anchoring configuration, in which the first and second anchoring elements engage target tissue on a first side and a second side, respectively, of the tissue opening.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a medical device for deploying a ligation band may include a tubular body. The tubular body may include a proximal end, a distal end, a radially inner surface defining a lumen through the tubular body, and a radially outer surface. The radially outer surface may include protrusions arranged in rows extending at least partially around a proximal region of the radially outer surface. Protrusions in adjacent rows may be separated by a first distance. Surface features may extend at least partially around a distal region of the radially outer surface. Adjacent surface features may be separated by a second distance larger than the first distance.

Abstract: A device for passing a needle and suture longitudinally through a target tissue includes a proximal jaw including a proximal recess and a proximal retention mechanism for releasably engaging a first end of a needle received within the proximal recess and a distal jaw movably coupled to the proximal jaw such that the proximal and distal jaws are longitudinally movable relative to one another. Abstract: A tissue resection cap assembly includes a distal member and a resection device. The distal member includes an outer cap extending from a proximal end to a distal end and includes a lumen extending therethrough and an inner cap received within the lumen of the outer cap. The inner cap extends from a proximal end to a distal end and defines a working channel, a resection device track defined between the distal end of the outer cap and the distal end of the inner cap. The resection device is received within the resection device track, in an operative position, to cut target tissue received within the working channel.

The rotatable member may also include a gripping element configured to engage a layer of tissue. The gripping element may be configured to selectively couple at least a portion of the layer of tissue to a surface of the rotatable member, to restrict relative movement between the portion of the layer of tissue and the surface of the rotatable member, during rotation of the rotatable member.
