Abstract:
A method and apparatus of releasing a connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a specific establishment cause, receiving paging indicating connection release and release information including an establishment cause or a logical channel priority, and releasing the RRC connection depending on the establishment cause or the logical channel priority included in the release information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing backoff in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) identifies a prioritized access, receives a backoff parameter from a network, and determines whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter according to the prioritized access. The prioritized access corresponds to one of emergency access, high priority access, control element/information in media access control (MAC), radio link control (RLC) or packet data convergence protocol (PDCP), data radio bearer (DRB) for voice/video service, signaling radio bearer (SRB) 0, SRB 1, SRB 2, multimedia telephony service (MMTEL)-voice, MMTEL-video, and voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for applying autonomous denial in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) counts the number of aggregated denials of uplink (UL) subframes in all serving cells or each serving cell over a validity period including previous subframes and a current subframe. If the number of aggregated denials of UL subframes in all serving cells or each serving cell is less than a threshold, the UE is allowed to deny scheduled UL transmission at the current subframe.
Abstract:
Provided is an interested service-based cell reselection method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises checking that access to the current cell is blocked, determining whether the condition for receiving an interested service is satisfied, and selecting, if the condition for receiving an interested service is satisfied, the cell on the same frequency as the frequency of the current cell.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for a terminal controlling access in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: obtaining service-specific access control information; obtaining service group access control information; and controlling access to a specific type of service based on the service group access control information and the service-specific access control information. The service-specific access control information includes a service-specific barring factor parameter which is applied to the specific type of service. The service group access control information includes a service group barring factor parameter which is commonly applied to specific service groups that include at least one type of service.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits a first indication according to a first configuration, starts a timer prohibiting transmission of another indication, receives a second configuration, and configures a second indication according to the second configuration after the timer expires.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an operating method of a serving base station in wireless communication system. The method comprises obtaining delay-tolerance information with respect to user equipment, and operating based on the delay-tolerance information. The delay-tolerance information indicates whether the user equipment is a delay-tolerant user equipment (UE), which allows a service delay. Provided is a delay-tolerance information-based operating method of user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method comprises generating delay-tolerance information and transmitting delay-tolerance information to a network. The delay-tolerance information indicates whether the user equipment is a delay-tolerant user equipment (UE), which allows a service delay. The network is operated based on the delay-tolerance information.
Abstract:
Provided is a cell reselection method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises acquiring information indicating that the lowest priority is to be applied to a specific frequency, applying the lowest priority to the specific frequency and operating a cell reselection, applying the highest priority to the specific frequency upon sensing a specific type cell during the operation, and performing a cell reselection based on the applied lowest priority or highest priority.
Abstract:
Provided is a measurement report method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises acquiring a measurement result, activating or inactivating positioning for acquiring location information, and transmitting a measurement report message via a network. The method further comprises acquiring location information related to the measurement result when the positioning is activated. The measurement report message includes the measurement result and the location information. The measurement report message includes the measurement result when the positioning is not activated.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for measuring and reporting a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: transmitting a first measurement report message, which includes at least one first CSI-RS measurement report; determining whether to report at least one second CSI-RS measurement result; and transmitting a second measurement report message, which includes the at least one second CSI-RS measurement result, when the determination is made to report the second CSI-RS measurement result. The determination of whether to report is based on a first CSI-RS trigger list, which is a list of one or more first CSI-RS resources that are related to the at least one first CSI-RS measurement result, and a second CSI-RS trigger list, which is a list of one or more second CSI-RS resources that are related to the at least one second CSI-RS measurement result.
