Abstract:
A method of searching for a touch point of a clutch may include a reference measurement step of measuring angular acceleration of an input shaft while a gear of a non-drive shaft may be being engaged and disengaged, a clutch operation step of engaging the gear disengaged at the reference measurement step and manipulating a clutch of the input shaft to a currently stored touch point, a target measurement step of measuring angular acceleration of the input shaft while disengaging an engaged gear in a state of maintaining the clutch operated at the clutch operation step, and a learning step of learning and updating the touch point by comparing the angular acceleration of the input shaft measured at the target measurement step with the angular acceleration measured at the reference measurement step.
Abstract:
Slipping of a clutch can be minimized with a method of controlling the clutch different, depending on the current traveling status of the vehicle, when reaccelerating the vehicle with both clutches open before stopping the vehicle with a dual clutch transmission (DCT). The method can improve the sense of shifting by optimizing the inclination of an engine speed.

A system and method is provided for observing a heart rate of a passenger. The system for observing a heart rate of a passenger includes a plurality of different types of heart rate sensors provided on a seat cushion or a seat back, and a control unit for collecting waveforms of the heart rate sensors for respective sensor types, computing accuracies of the waveforms for respective sensor types at each unit time, selecting a waveform having a highest accuracy at each unit time, and then calculating a heart rate.
Abstract:
A friction device assembly structure for an automatic transmission includes a first friction device and an end play adjustment element. The first friction device includes a plurality of discs and a plurality of plates which are alternately arranged and configured such that a frictional force is created between the discs and the plates by the pressing force of a piston. The end play adjustment element is provided on an end of the first friction device to adjust an end play defined between the first friction device and the piston. The end play adjustment element is hollow such that an inner diameter thereof is greater than an outermost diameter of a second friction device which is provided inside the first friction device. Thereby, the end play adjustment element is able to be assembled without any interference from the second friction device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of controlling failure of a Motor-Driven Power Steering (MDPS) system may include monitoring a first torque sensor signal and a second torque sensor signal detected by a torque sensor, performing a safety mode operation in which control of the MDPS may be performed such that when a fault signal of the first torque sensor signal or the second torque sensor signal may be detected, the MDPS may be controlled to decrease a steering assist power, and performing a manual mode operation in which control of the MDPS may be performed such that when a fault signal of a remaining torque sensor signal out of the first and second torque sensor signals, which was not detected during the safety mode operation, may be detected, the MDPS may be controlled to completely lose the steering assist power.
Abstract:
An airbag cover includes a housing section which forms an upper part of which is opened and into which a folded airbag cushion is housed; and a guide section which is formed by extending an upper rear end and both ends of the opened housing section to form an additional space for extending a space of the housing section and a front surface of which at a passenger side is opened to guide an initial deployment direction of the airbag cushion toward a passenger side.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of preventing an exhaust inflow, including: a measurement step of measuring a concentration of exhaust introduced into an interior of a vehicle through an exhaust detecting sensor installed in the interior of the vehicle, and comparing the concentration of the exhaust with a reference concentration; an introduction step of controlling an interior/exterior air door of an air conditioning apparatus to introduce more exterior air into the interior of the vehicle so as to increase an interior pressure when the concentration of the introduced exhaust is thicker than the reference concentration; and a blowing step of controlling a blower of the air conditioning apparatus to increase an amount of air discharged into the interior of the vehicle to increase the interior pressure when the thick concentration of the exhaust is maintained.
