摘要： A method of modifying a glycosylation pattern of a polypeptide-of-interest in a plant or plant cell is provided. The method comprising expressing in a plant or plant cell transformed to express at least one glycosidase in a subcellular compartment, a nucleic acid sequence encoding the polypeptide-of-interest, such that the at least one glycosidase and the polypeptide-of-interest are co-localized to the subcellular compartment of the plant or plant cell, thereby modifying the glycosylation pattern of the polypeptide-of-interest in the plant or plant cell.

摘要： A method of detecting death of a cell type or tissue in a subject is disclosed. The method comprises determining whether cell-free DNA comprised in a fluid sample of the subject is derived from the cell type or tissue, wherein the determining is effected by ascertaining the methylation status of at least four methylation sites on a continuous sequence of the cell-free DNA, the sequence comprising no more than 300 nucleotides, wherein a methylation status of each of the at least four methylation sites on the continuous sequence of the DNA characteristic of the cell type or tissue is indicative of death of the cell type or tissue. Kits for detecting cell death are also disclosed.

摘要： Embodiments of stable topical compositions for administering fenoldopam (compound (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof are disclosed for immediate or continued slow release administration, over prolonged periods of time with safe minimal systemic exposure of fenoldopam (reducing the risk for lowering blood pressure). The compositions include those compositions that increase the stability and skin absorption of the drug, particularly anhydrous semi-solid compositions and creams. This is accomplished by incorporating fenoldopam in soluble or dispersed form into semi-solid compositions like ointments or anhydrous gels that are not irritative. Embodiments of methods for using the topical compositions in the treatment of dermatological disorders including psoriasis, alopecia atopic dermatitis and vitiligo are disclosed.
