Abstract: A blood pressure measurement system is provided that includes an inflatable cuff, a valve assembly and chamber assembly. The chamber assembly can house a gas canister for providing gas to the inflatable cuff. The valve assembly can include a valve having a high pressure cavity, a low pressure cavity, and a channel providing a gas pathway between the high pressure cavity and the low pressure cavity. The valve assembly can further include a channel cover and spring in the high pressure cavity. The spring can exert a force on the channel cover to create a seal between the high pressure cavity and the channel. The valve assembly can further include a rod extending through the channel and exerting a force on the channel cover to create a gas pathway between the high pressure cavity and the channel.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides devices, systems, and methods capable of optimizing in vivo electrochemical measurement of a molecule of interest, for example glucose. Disclosed aspects may include an interference zapping layer, to which an electric potential may be applied to prevent or minimize various interfering molecules from reaching a working electrode. Aspects of the present disclosure may additionally or alternatively include a sensor including multiple working electrodes. The sensors having multiple working electrodes may measure background current during sensing in order to determine background current specific to each electrode, current due to electrochemical interferents, and current due to the molecule of interest. Sensors may also be capable of executing a measurement mode whereby a plurality of currents are measured over a range of interference zapping layer potentials and a range of working electrode potentials.

Abstract: A sensor system has a low-noise sensor controller providing communications between an active-temperature-regulated optical sensor and an external monitor. A low-noise sensor controller drives optical emitters, receives resulting detected signals after attenuation by a blood perfused tissue site and communicates the detector signals to the attached signal processor. An optically-isolated controller front-end receives and digitizes the detected signals. Abstract: The present disclosure provides a physiological monitoring system that includes at least one physiological sensor indicative of a physiological condition of a patient, the at least one sensor worn by a patient. Sensors can include one or more optical sensors configured to measure a physiological parameter, such as total hemoglobin, SpO2, methemoglobin, carboxyhemoglobin, and the like. A monitoring system can receive measured information from the sensor and determine if the physiological condition of the user indicates an urgent medical need. When the physiological condition of the user indicates an urgent medical need, the electronic device can generate an alert.
