摘要: A liquid crystal display includes a first gate line, a second gate line, a data line, a first pixel unit, a second pixel unit, a gate driver, and a source driver. The first and second gate lines respectively transmit a first and a second gate driving signals provided by the gate driver, while the data line transmits a first and a second data. The first pixel unit displays images according to the first gate driving signal and the first data, while the second pixel unit displays images according to the second gate driving signal and the second data. The source driver includes a logic circuit and a multiplexer circuit. The logic circuit generates an odd/even select signal according to a scan sequence signal and an enable signal. The multiplexer circuit outputs one of the first and second data according to the odd/even select signal.

摘要: A computer system with integrated storage device for storing both a basic input/output system (BIOS) code and an operating system (OS) code and an associated booting method are provided. The computer system includes a central processing unit, a storage device controller and the storage device. The BIOS code and the OS code are stored in an invisible are and a visible area of the storage device, respectively. At first, the storage device controller is activated to read data from an architecture information area of the storage device to perform initialization. Then, the initialized storage device controller converts a read-only memory access command issued from the central processing unit into a suitable format to control loading of the BIOS code from the invisible area. At last, the storage device controller controls loading of the OS code from the visible area to finish the booting of the computer system.

摘要: In an embodiment, a UE determines to transmit a message (e.g., an alert message, a call initiation message). Based on the type of the message to be transmitted, the UE selectively transmits supplemental data configured to prompt an access network to transition the UE to a dedicated channel state (DCS). In another embodiment, an application server configured to arbitrate communication sessions between UEs receives a message for transmission to a target UE. Based on the type of the message to be transmitted to the target UE, the application server selectively transmits, to a serving access network of the target UE, supplemental data configured to prompt the serving access network to transition the target UE to the DCS. In another embodiment, the access network selectively transitions a target UE to the DCS based on whether differently sized messages are received at the access network for transmission to the target UE.

摘要: Disclosed is a method and system for automatically testing a raster image processor. The method may identify the correctness of the bitmap output by the raster image processor to be tested by comparing an abstract code of a bitmap generated by the RIP to be tested with that generated by a reference RIP to determine whether they are consistent with each other, so as to identify the correctness and stability of the RIP to be tested. Furthermore, the test samples can be submitted automatically. Thus, the convenience and efficiency are improved with respect to the manual submitting.

摘要: An image capture method is provided for a portable communication device having a display unit, which real-time displays an image at least including an object to be shot. The method includes sensing a moving acceleration of the portable communication device based on a first gravity-sensing threshold value. A touch focus signal is received so that the portable communication device focuses on one of the objects to be the focus-lock object. Then, according to the touch focus signal, the first gravity-sensing threshold value is changed to a second gravity-sensing threshold value, which is larger than the first gravity-sensing threshold value. The image at least including the focus-lock object is captured.

摘要: A method of generating and detecting confusing phones/syllables is disclosed. The method includes a generating stage and a detecting stage. The generating stage includes: (a) input a Mandarin utterance; (b) partition the Mandarin utterance into segmented phones/syllables and generate the most likely route in a recognition net via Forced Alignment of Viterbi decoding; (c) compare the segmented phones/syllables with a Mandarin acoustic model; (d) determine whether a confusing phone/syllable exists; (e) add the confusing phone/syllable into the recognition net and repeat step (b), (c), and (d) when the confusing phone/syllable exists; (f) stop and output all generated confusing phones/syllables to a confusing phone/syllable file when a confusing phone/syllable does not exist. The detecting stage includes: (g) input a spoken sentence; (h) align the spoken sentence with the recognition net; (i) determine the most likely route of the spoken sentence; and (j) compare the most likely route of the spoken sentence with the target route of the spoken sentence to detect pronunciation error and give high-level pronunciation suggestions.

摘要: In an embodiment, a multicast communication session is setup at an access network within a wireless communications system, whereby the access network transmits an announce message announcing a current multicast communication session to a given group of access terminals within an initial cluster of sectors. The access network receives a registration request for the current multicast communication session from an access terminal, and selectively loads a stored cluster of sectors that supported a previous multicast communication session to the given group. The access network then turns on a multicast flow for the current multicast communication session within each sector of the stored cluster. In another embodiment, a multicast communication session is terminated whereby the access network stories a formation of the engaged cluster at or near the termination of the current multicast communication session, which can then be used during setup of a subsequent multicast communication session.
