摘要: Activating mutations in fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3) and inactivating mutations in the natriuretic peptide receptor 2 (NPR2) guanylyl cyclase both result in decreased production of cyclic GMP (cGMP) and severe short stature, causing achondroplasia and acromesomelic dysplasia type Maroteaux, respectively. In attempt to find a new therapeutic approach for FGFR3-related skeletal disease, the inventors showed that a combination of a NPR2 agonist (e.g. BMN-111) and a phosphatase inhibitor (e.g. LB-100) significantly increases the length of the Fgfr3Y367C/+ femurs compared to Fgfr3+/+ femurs and improves the whole growth plate cartilage. The present invention thus relates to the use of a NPR2 agonist (e.g. BMN-111) and a phosphatase inhibitor (e.g. LB-100) for the treatment of FGFR3-related skeletal disease (e.g. achondroplasia).

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of ultrasounds and imagining of the coronary blood flow of the heart. Patients with coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) have poor prognostic with significantly higher rates of cardiovascular events, including hospitalization for heart failure, sudden cardiac death, and myocardial infarction (MI). Despite the urgent clinical need, there are no non-ionizing and non-invasive techniques available in clinic to directly visualize the coronary microvasculature and assess the local coronary microvascular system. Flow imaging remains a difficult task to perform in the heart because of the fast movements of this organ. In order to overcome the limitations of actual imaging methods for the coronary blood flow, the inventors proposed an ultrasound ultrafast imaging method that automatically detect the time periods in which the myocardium velocity is low and estimate the coronary flow velocity and the tissue velocity from the same data acquisition.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for assisting with lymphoma prognosis. The prognosis of therapeutic response of patients with lymphoma is difficult. Based on a study of advanced stage DLBCL patients, the inventors showed that medical imaging such as 18F-FDG-PET/CT can provide a prognostic radiomic signature combining metrics reflecting tumor dissemination and tumor burden. In another aspect, the invention relates to a computer software comprising instructions to implement at least a part of a method according to the invention. In yet another aspect, the invention relates to a computer-readable non-transient recording medium on which a software is registered to implement a method according to the invention.

摘要: Disclosed herein are methods for treating patients that may develop or already have pre-existing gene therapy neutralizing antibodies by administering a protease that cleaves peptide bonds present in immunoglobulins or by administering a glycosidase that cleaves carbohydrate residues present on immunoglobulins, or other similar enzymatic cleavage of immunoglobulins in vivo. Also disclosed are methods for utilizing IdeS and other immunoglobulin G-degrading enzyme polypeptides for gene therapy treatment of a disease in a patient in need thereof.
