Abstract:
A manufacturing method for improving the yield in a semiconductor manufacturing process and reducing the manufacturing cost produces a semiconductor device that is inexpensively manufactured and has a high reliability by reliably making contact during inspection with a suitable pressing force, while limiting damage to an electrode pad even when many inspected electrodes are inspected. A substrate used for inspection of the semiconductor device has a beam, a probe on the beam having a projecting shape for coming in contact with an electrode (electrode pad) of the semiconductor device, and a secondary electrode electrically connected to the probe through an electrically conductive member disposed on the side of the beam opposed to the side where the probe is provided. In an inspecting process, an inspecting device having a layer having many projections formed in the probe come in contact with the electrode pad of the semiconductor device.

A method for rethreading a yarn during false twist texturing of the yarn includes setting the temperature of a heater body outside a range having upper and lower limits so that if melted yarn adheres to the heater, the yarn vaporizes quickly if the temperature is above the upper limit or is easily removed by rethreading the yarn if the temperature is below the lower limit. The heater body has a total length between 0.8 and 1.2 m, the heater body and heating member divided into two pieces from upstream side to downstream side of the heat treating apparatus in ratio of length between 1:3 and 1: 1:5. The divided upstream heating member (12) is able to heat the upstream heater body (11) at a temperature higher than 370.degree. C., and the downstream heating member (22) is to heat the downstream heater body (21) at a temperature of between 200.degree. and 320.degree. C. or higher than 370.degree. C. The upstream heater body has yarn guides (15) disposed at a longitudinal pitch of at most 30 mm, and the downstream heater body has yarn guides ( 24) disposed at a longitudinal pitch between 80 and 120 mm.

Abstract:
A tape cassette comprises a cassette housing having an upper section, a lower section, a pair of reel hubs rotatably accommodated therein for winding a magnetic tape therearound, and a front opening through which the tape is engageable with a recording and/or reproducing head. The lower section is formed with a pair of openings for respectively receiving reel shafts for rotating the hubs and thereby driving the tape, and the upper section is formed with a recess. A tape player with which the cassette cooperates is provided with a holder for the cassette, with a loading hook engageable in the recess in the upper cassette section, and with an arrangement of cams and levers for moving the loading hook between an ejection position wherein the tape cassette can be manually inserted partway into or removed from the cassette holder and a loaded position wherein an inserted cassette is fully drawn into the holder, and for moving the holder between an upper position wherein a cassette can be loaded into or ejected from the holder and a lower position wherein a cassette loaded into the holder engages a tape drive.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cassette casing for a magnetic tape cassette, in which particularly when not in operation for recording and/or reproducing a signal, the cassette casing is tightly closed to protect a magnetic tape from being adhered with dusts and touching of fingers. The cassette casing is provided at its front portion with an openable and closable lid and at its lower surface with a slidable slider, whereby upon non-use, reel shaft insertion apertures, a front opening and a cut-out portion are closed by the front lid and the slider and this closed state is held by the cooperation of the front lid and the slider. Also, an elastic engaging piece member having at its tip end a protrusion is formed near the cut-out portion of the cassette casing and an engaging aperture which is engaged with this protrusion is formed through the slide, whereby the sliding movement of the slider is restricted by the engagement between the engaging piece member and the engaging aperture.
Abstract:
A servo-system is provided for self-balancing systems using an ac servomotor capable of maintaining loop gain substantially constant irrespective of span adjustment and without capacitor coupling. It includes a direct-coupling dc amplifier for comparing input and comparison signals and amplifying the result, a servo amplifier having a differential direct-coupling amplifier with inverting and non-inverting input terminals, with feedback from its output to the inverting input terminal and a switch to the non-inverting input terminal operating at the same frequency as the ac power source for the servomotor, to maintain the loop gain constant irrespective of span adjustment, and means causing the ac servomotor to move a slide resistor to bring the compared signal into balance with the input signal.Provision is also made for receiving input signals from thermoelectric or resistance thermometers and balancing the system using these signals.

A via hole forming method and a multilayered board manufacturing method improve manufacturing yield by reducing the required processes. The via hole forming method includes a first step of forming a toner image by attaching toner particles, containing a conductive material and having a protruding portion, onto the surface of a first photosensitive member so that the protruding portion is directed to the outside; and a second step of opposing the surface of the first photosensitive member to one principal surface of a green sheet containing an insulating material and transferring the toner image to the one principal surface of the green sheet so that the protruding portions of the toner particles protrude into the green sheet so as to reach the other principal surface of the green sheet and the toner particles are buried in the green sheet. The via holes are formed using an electrophotographic printing method.
Abstract:
Provided is a pulse modulation circuit that improves the on/off operation and improves the on/off ratio of an output power of the entire pulse modulation circuit in the switching operation. The pulse modulation circuit inputs a local oscillation wave and a DC pulse signal, mixes a second harmonic wave of the local oscillation wave with the DC pulse signal, and outputs an RF pulse signal. The pulse modulation circuit includes: a switch that inputs the local oscillation wave and attenuates the local oscillation wave at an off time more than at an on time; and a harmonic mixer that inputs the local oscillation wave affected by the switch and the DC pulse signal, mixes the second harmonic wave of the local oscillation wave with the DC pulse signal, and outputs the RF pulse signal, in which the switch is allowed to conduct the switching operation together with the harmonic mixer according to the DC pulse signal.
