    摘要: In an apparatus and a method for processing description information of multimedia data, in order to reflect a user's preference about multimedia data, a usage history of a user is made by adding description information to the multimedia data, in order to manage the usage history efficiently the apparatus includes, a server adding description information to the multimedia, and a terminal transmitting/receiving multimedia data to/from the server, storing a user's usage history about the multimedia data, grasping a preference of a user with the stored usage history and providing the preference of the user to the server, accordingly multimedia sequences can be efficiently managed with the usage history of the user, a restrictive memory unit can be efficiently used, and grouping of lots of multimedia data can be easily performed by displaying all commonly applicable data as the same result by using common information or application group information without retrieving characteristic information.

The multimedia data browsing method is characterized in that: (a) constructing a user profile by incorporating a user-preferred application description scheme indicating a user-preferred multimedia browsing method or browsing criterion, wherein the browsing method or browsing criterion is described in different way according to a type of the multimedia data in terms of genre; (b) analyzing the user-preferred application description scheme and selecting a relevant application for implementing a user-preferred browsing; and (c) browsing corresponding multimedia data using the selected preferred application.

    摘要: Apparatus is disclosed for providing an optical system which drives beam collecting lens by piezo device, for focusing the beam which moves according to the rotation of reflection mirror for using beam scanning that scans the laser beam on the surface of optical magnetic tape to be always set on the surface of the tape. An optical magnetic recording system modulates an image signal and converts the modulated signal to laser signal, and drives beam collecting lens (object lens) that collects the laser data by the synchronizing signal of the image signal, so as to allow optical magnetic recording on the tape surface. An optical recording system for recording by helical scanning the collected beam of the beam collecting lens on the tape surface using polysurface rotary mirror. An optical recording and playback system picks up optically recorded data on a optical magnetic tape using a contact sensor. A magnetic recording data pick-up device having a Hall sensor array, detects optical recording data on the surface of the optical magnetic tape by approaching the surface thereof, an accumulator and a shift array for accumulating and shifting the signal from the Hall sensor array. A magnetic recording data read control circuit which controls magnetic recording pick-up device by control data recorded according to main data.

An optical property of each of the plurality of reference patterns may be measured to provide a respective measured optical property for each of the reference patterns, and an optical property of the object pattern may be measured to provide a measured optical property of the object pattern. The measured optical property of the object pattern may be compared with the measured optical properties of the reference patterns, and a critical dimension of the object pattern may be determined as being the same as the critical dimension of the reference pattern having the measured optical property that is closest to the measured optical property of the object pattern.
