Abstract:
A length-adjustable snowshoe includes a frame and a carrier fixed to the frame. A connecting member mounted to the frame includes two receiving holes. A pivotal portion is formed on a top side of the connecting member. A compartment extends from the pivotal portion through one of the receiving holes. An extension member includes legs slideably received in the receiving holes and is slideable between first and second positions. A sliding member is mounted on the extension member to move therewith. A positioning member is received in the compartment and pivotable between a stop position and a releasing position. The positioning member in the stop position retains the extension member in any location including and intermediate the first and second positions. The extension member can slide between the first and second positions when the positioning member is in the releasing position.
Abstract:
A mask box having a buckling structure includes a base, a cover and a plurality of buckling elements. The base is configured to support a mask and has a plurality of troughs. The cover covers the base and has a plurality of pivotal portions. The buckling elements are positioned to correspond to the troughs. Each buckling element includes an engaging block and an elastic arm connected to the pivotal portion. The engaging block moves away from the periphery of the cover when the engaging block is subjected to an external force. The engaging block is buckled into the trough via an elastic restoring force of the at least one elastic arm when the external force is removed. By this arrangement, the assembly of the buckling elements is simplified and its product cost is reduced. Further, the present invention conforms to the requirements for environmental protection.
Abstract:
A silicon nitride layer is provided on an uppermost surface of a graphene layer and then a hafnium dioxide layer is provided on an uppermost surface of the silicon nitride layer. The silicon nitride layer acts as a wetting agent for the hafnium dioxide layer and thus prevents the formation of discontinuous columns of hafnium dioxide atop the graphene layer. The silicon nitride layer and the hafnium dioxide layer, which collectively form a low EOT bilayer gate dielectric, exhibit continuous morphology atop the graphene layer.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for obtaining the rendering co-ordinates of visible text elements on a web page is disclosed. The web page is represented by an input data structure comprising a plurality of text nodes, each of which represents a text element on the web page. The method comprises the following steps: a) using a computer device, wrapping each of the plurality of text nodes in a pair of mark-up language tags; b) using said computer device, obtaining the co-ordinates of a bounding rectangle for each text node using the mark-up language tags; c) using said computer device, attaching an attribute specifying the co-ordinates of the bounding rectangle to each text node; and d) using said computer device, determining whether each text node is invisible, and if it is, excluding it from an output data structure comprising the plurality of text nodes and attached attributes.
Abstract:
Techniques for fabricating carbon nanotube-based devices are provided. In one aspect, a method for fabricating a carbon nanotube-based integrated circuit is provided. The method comprises the following steps. A first wafer comprising carbon nanotubes is provided. A second wafer comprising one or more device elements is provided. One or more of the carbon nanotubes are connected with one or more of the device elements by bonding the first wafer and the second wafer together. A carbon nanotube-based integrated circuit is also provided.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a semiconductor device that includes a semiconductor substrate and a transistor formed in the substrate. The transistor includes a gate stack having a high-k dielectric and metal gate, a sealing layer formed on sidewalls of the gate stack, the sealing layer having an inner edge and an outer edge, the inner edge interfacing with the sidewall of the gate stack, a spacer formed on the outer edge of the sealing layer, and a source/drain region formed on each side of the gate stack, the source/drain region including a lightly doped source/drain (LDD) region that is aligned with the outer edge of the sealing layer.
Abstract:
A multi-user operating system through a multi-touch panel comprises a processor; a storage medium coupled to the processor; a multiple touch panel coupled to the processor to sense multi-touch event by at least one user, followed by displaying instruction result corresponding to the multi-touch event; a display dividing module coupled to the processor to divide the multiple touch panel into at least two sub-display areas; multiple user operation module being stored in the storage medium to instruct the display dividing module to execute a multiple user mode or a single user mode, thereby allowing the multiple user manipulate virtual objects on the at least two sub-display areas, simultaneously.
Abstract:
The extracting apparatus includes a bracket, a holder extractably mounted to the bracket, a locking member, an elastic member connecting the bracket with the locking member, and a handle pivotably connecting to the bracket. The locking member is pivotably engaged with the bracket. The handle includes a cam, and the locking member includes a latch portion. When the extracting apparatus is at a locked position, the latch portion of the locking member extends through the bracket to securely engage with the holder. When the handle is pivoted to move toward the bracket, the cam of the handle drives the locking member to rotate relative to the bracket for releasing the holder.
Abstract:
A three-dimensional switching device includes an image switching panel, at least a first and a second driver unit, and at least a signal connection circuit. The image switching panel has a plurality of first electrodes criss-crossing with a plurality of second electrodes. The first driver unit has a first flexible circuit board with a first driver circuit disposed thereon that connects to a side of the image switching panel, and has a first output terminal electrically connected to the first electrodes. The second driver unit similarly has a second flexible circuit board having a second driver circuit connecting to the other side of the image switching panel with a second output terminal electrically connected to the second electrodes. The signal connection circuit connects to the image switching panel. The first and second driver circuits respectively have a first and second input terminal electrically connected to the signal connection circuit.
Abstract:
An integrated keyboard includes a touch pad and a dynamic keyboard embedded in an area of the touch pad. The touch pad, which may provide a transparent surface to allow the keyboard to be visible, provides motion tracking in areas around the periphery of the keyboard and may be configured into many operating modes. For example, virtual touchable buttons may be configured in the periphery of the keyboard. The keyboard may be provided as a dynamic keyboard with various layouts. A keyboard protector may be provided for each layout, with printed symbols for the keys under the layout. The integrated keyboard may also include a mini-projector to allow projection of a large image on a surface and a virtual Human Interface Device (HID) system to facilitate data input. With the input capabilities of the touch pad and the keyboard, the projector may be controlled in many additional ways not available in conventional projectors that are controlled by a few buttons. The virtual HID may provide motion tracking. The integrated keyboard may interface with a master/slave device, such as a slate type device. A customized case tightly integrates the integrated keyboard with the master/slave device.
