    摘要: Flue gas of boiler is introduced through gas inlet part of flue-gas desulfurization apparatus, and absorbent liquid sprayed from spray nozzle is trapped in recirculation tank. There, agitation is performed by oxidation agitator to thereby oxidize SO2 absorbed from the flue gas into gypsum. In the tank, oxidation air is fed from posterior air pipe and anterior air pipe behind and ahead of liquid propulsion by the propeller. Thus, even when the amount of oxidation air must be increased in accordance with an increase of boiler load, the oxidation efficiency can be enhanced without increasing the number of agitators. Then the apparatus with which even when the amount of oxidation air fed to the liquid trapping section is increased, highly efficient oxidation can be performed without increasing the number of agitators installed and the operating cost.

    摘要: In a bolometer-type THz-wave detector in a micro-bridge structure in which a temperature detecting portion (diaphragm) including a bolometer thin film is supported by a supporting portion in a state suspended from a circuit substrate, a member (dielectric cover) made of a dielectric material for efficiently collecting a THz wave is added to an upper part of the temperature detecting portion, and when a refractive index of the dielectric cover is n, thickness is t, and a wavelength of the THz wave is λ, a setting is made so as to have nt>λ, and a gap between the dielectric cover and the temperature detecting portion is set at integral multiples of λ/2. By this arrangement, an absorption of the THz wave can be improved using a structure and manufacturing method of a bolometer-type infrared detector, and a high-performance bolometer-type THz-wave detector can be manufactured with a high yield.

    摘要: A bolometer infrared detecting element has a thermal isolation structure in which a temperature detector comprising a bolometer thin film is held floating from a circuit substrate by beams. As infrared rays incident on the temperature detector or reflected by an infrared reflector are absorbed by a protective film and the bolometer thin film, the temperature of the bolometer thin film rises, and the temperature rise is detected as a change in resistance. When a high temperature object whose temperature is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature or whose output voltage is equal to or higher than a value corresponding to the predetermined temperature is detected, a control temperature setter or a pulse bias setter performs control in such a way as to raise the temperature of a Peltier device stepwise or in a pulse form, or to increase the width of a pulse of pulse bias, or to increase the voltage value of the pulse. This makes it possible to raise the temperature of the infrared detecting element, thereby reducing an afterimage.

With this structure, the thermal capacity of the diaphragm 5 is decreased and the thermal time constant is reduced. This enables the thermal infrared detector to be operated at a high frame rate. A bolometer thin film 7 is formed throughout an entire surface of the diaphragm 5.

    摘要: A thermal infrared detector has a substrate having a readout circuit and a plurality of pixels patterned on the substrate at a pitch p, which is in the range of from 15 to 50 micrometers. Each of the pixels has a photo-sensitive bolometer thin film area that is spaced from the substrate, and supported by two beams which contain interconnections between the photosensitive area and the readout circuit. The length of each of the beams is determined by the patterning accuracy of a stepper used to produce the thermal infrared detector, based on a beam length index calculated by dividing the length of each beam by one-quarter of the peripheral length of the pixel. The beam length index may be approximated by an expression using the pixel pitch, the thermal conductivity of the interconnection material, etc. as parameters in an equation representing temperature resolution.
