摘要： According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a receiver which receives a broadcast signal, a demodulator which filters the received broadcast signal using a filtering characteristic, and separates the received broadcast signal into a video signal and an audio signal, a video decoder which executes a process for detecting frequencies of a vertical sync signal, a horizontal sync signal and a color sub-carrier signal from the video signal which is output from the demodulator, a unit which selects, from the plurality of kinds of filtering characteristics, a filtering characteristic which enables the video decoder to detect the vertical sync signal, the horizontal sync signal and the color sub-carrier signal, and a unit which determines the kind of the broadcast standard corresponding to the received broadcast signal, based on the selected kind of filtering characteristic and the detected frequencies.

摘要： A mask blank is formed on a transparent substrate with a light-shielding film of a material mainly containing chromium and is used for obtaining a photomask by forming the light-shielding film into a transfer pattern by lithography using an electron beam writing resist. The mask blank includes a mask layer formed on the light-shielding film for serving as an etching mask in etching that forms the light-shielding film into the transfer pattern. The mask layer is made of a material containing silicon. The mask blank further includes a chromium nitride-based film formed on the mask layer and containing at least chromium and nitrogen.

摘要： A head drive apparatus of an inkjet printer, having: a plurality of nozzles provided to an inkjet head for ejecting liquid drops; actuators provided corresponding to the nozzles; and a drive unit that applies a drive signal to the actuators, wherein the drive unit, comprising: a drive waveform generator that generates a drive waveform signal as a reference of a signal to control drive of the actuators; a modulator that pulse modulates a drive waveform signal generated by the drive waveform generator; a digital power amplifier that amplifies power of a modulated signal subjected to the pulse modulation by the modulator; a low pass filter that smoothes a amplified digital signal subjected to the power amplification by the digital power amplifier and supplying the signal as a drive signal to the actuators; and an inverse filter provided in a subsequent stage of the drive waveform generator that corrects at least the frequency characteristics of the filter comprised of capacitances of the low pass filter and the actuators to a predetermined frequency characteristics, independently of the number of the actuators to drive.

摘要： A pulse generation apparatus has an encoder that outputs an encoder signal in a cycle corresponding to each driven operation of a driving target medium by a drive amount per unit. The pulse generation apparatus generates a pulse on the basis of the encoder signal that is outputted by the encoder. The amplitude of the signal changes in a cyclic manner. The pulse generation apparatus has a switching unit that receives the encoder signal and then switches either the amplitude of the signal or a threshold depending on the driven speed of the driving target medium so as to change the number of signal waves that exceed the threshold depending on the driven speed of the driving target medium. The pulse generation apparatus also has a pulse generating unit that generates a pulse having the same cycle as that of the signal wave that exceeds the threshold.

摘要： The gas sensor control apparatus develops a first voltage based on a first reference voltage at a negative terminal of a gas sensor device through a resistor and a second voltage based on a second reference voltage at a positive terminal of the gas sensor device. A controller samples through the resistor a sensor current, as created upon the development of the first and second voltage for measuring the concentration of gas. When the impedance of the gas sensor device is measured, the controller alternates the first voltage across the first reference voltage. The value (i.e., a zero-point) of the voltage applied to the gas sensor device when the sensor current is zero (i.e., 0 mA) depends upon the first and second reference voltages. The zero-point is corrected by regulating the second reference voltage to match an applying voltage characteristic to the gas sensor device correctly.
