Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dialysis machine with a device for preparing dialysis solutions. Simple and reliable preparation of dialysis fluids of different concentrations is achieved by the fact that the device has a detector device, at least two connections and at least two interchangeable storage containers to hold the solution ingredients to be metered, each being connected to at least one connector, and with the connectors being connectable to the connections, and with the connectors or the areas of a connecting tube near the connectors having identification means which can be detected by the detector device. The present invention also relates to a connector for connecting a storage container with solution ingredients to a medical apparatus, where the connector or areas of a connecting tube near the connector has identification means. The present invention also relates to a method of detecting a connection of a solution ingredient storage container. A simple and reliable implementation of the method is guaranteed by the fact that the connector is provided with identification means and is attached to a matching component, and a reader unit determines the type and position of the connector.
Abstract:
A method for treating materials with plasma-inducing high-energy radiation, especially laser radiation, where an area of vapor capillaries (13) of a work piece (10) is observed with a depth definition detecting device over the entire thickness of the work piece and time-dependent measurement of plasma radiation intensity is carried out. In order to accurately monitor the quality of material treatment, the method is implemented in such a way that the momentary plasma intensities are measured at no less than two measurement points which are parallel to an axis (11) of inducing radiation (12). Predetermined capillary parameters are assigned to the measured plasma intensities and control of the material treatment is conducted depending on the capillary geometric parameters.
Abstract:
A valve for metered introduction of fuel, volatilized from a fuel tank of an internal combustion engine, into the engine, having a valve housing which has an inflow neck for connection to a fuel tank or to an adsorption filter downstream of the tank for the volatilized fuel, and having an outflow neck for connection to the engine, having a valve member accommodated between the inflow neck and the outflow neck in the interior of the valve housing, which valve member is actuatable by an electromagnet that has a magnet core, and which cooperates with a valve seat embodied on a valve seat body, is characterized in that the valve housing includes a first housing part, closed on the inflow side by a protective screen, in/on which the electromagnet, the valve member, the valve seat body and the outflow neck are provided, and a second housing part, on which the inflow neck is disposed and which can be secured to the first housing part.
Abstract:
A valve is provided for a metered introduction of fuel vapor evaporated from a fuel tank of an internal combustion engine into an intake tube of the engine. A valve housing which has an inflow fitting for connection to a ventilation fitting of the fuel tank or an adsorption filter for evaporated fuel vapors. The valve housing is connected to the fuel tank and has an outflow fitting for connection to the intake tube. An armature is provided inside the valve housing in which the armature is moved by an electromagnet and which is pressed against a valve seat by a valve spring when the electromagnet is without current. The armature closes a metering opening of a flow connection from the inflow fitting to the outflow fitting, and opens this flow connection to a greater or lesser degree when the electromagnet is supplied with current, wherein the metering opening has a V-shaped cross sectional area for improved metering. The valve according to the invention is suited for introducing fuel vapor evaporated from a fuel tank of a mixture compressing internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition into an intake tube of the engine.
Abstract:
A filter comprising a filter housing with an interior within which between two closure members filter membranes in the form of hollow fibers are disposed. Between the hollow fibers a free flow space remains to which are connected two connecting pieces disposed inclined on the housing. Through said connecting pieces blood is supplied to the interior so that a filtration from the outside to the inside into the hollow fibers is possible. This and the arrangement of the connecting pieces gives an extremely favourable flow approach to the hollow fibers so that the blood flow is hardly influenced in its velocity and flow behaviour because in addition to the cross-section of the free flow space is adapted to the cross section of the blood supply line. For making such a filter at least two filters are arranged parallel and spaced apart in a plane, the support surface for the filters being rotatably mounted and the axis of rotation not intersecting any of the two longitudinal axes of the filters. During the rotation and supplying of the casting or sealing compound for the closure members through end-face supply means into the interior inclined faces are formed which in their angle correspond to the angle (.alpha., .beta.) of the connecting pieces.
Abstract:
To produce thiosemicarbazide hydrazine is reacted with hydrogen cyanide and sulfur to form hydrazine thiocyanate, and this is then converted into the thiosemicarbazide at an elevated temperature. Advantageously, the reaction is carried out in a polar solvent.
