Abstract:
This invention features an oral vaccine that includes a multiple-cell organism for use as food for an aquatic animal to be vaccinated, and a single-cell organism fed to, and as a result, bioencapsulated by, the multiple-cell organism. The single-cell organism has been transformed to express a recombinant antigen that induces an immune response in the aquatic animal and thereby vaccinates the aquatic animal (e.g., a fish or a shrimp).
Abstract:
A new type of partially-depleted SOI MOSFET is described in which a tunneling connection between the gate and the base is introduced. This is achieved by using a gate dielectric whose thickness is below its tunneling threshold. The gate pedestal is made somewhat longer than normal and a region near one end is implanted to be P+ (or N+ in a PMOS device). This allows holes (electrons for PMOS) to tunnel from gate to base. Since the hole current is self limiting, applied voltages greater than 0.7 volts may be used without incurring excessive leakage (as is the case with prior art DTMOS devices). A process for manufacturing the device is also described.
Abstract:
The invention is a leakage testing tool for a bellow of a semiconductor manufacturing machine. The testing tool has a plate, a first rack and an opposite second rack, both racks formed on the plate and supporting the bellow. Two movable plates each engage with a respective one of two adjustment screws. Each adjustment screw can adjust a flat end of one of the movable plates to press on a respective one of two end flanges of the bellow. With the testing tool, whether a bellow is damages can be quickly and conveniently determined, whereby a significant low cost is achieved.
Abstract:
A gate bias circuit for a plurality of GaAs amplifier stages is a transistor coupled to a temperature compensation current received from a CMOS control stage. A plurality of pHEMPT amplifier stages are coupled to the gate bias circuit and to a control voltage which switches the amplifier stage. A selectively controlled stage pass transistor enables a current mirror between the gate bias circuit and each stage amplifying transistor. The penultimate pHEMPT amplifier stage is coupled to a CMOS amplifier. A CMOS circuit provides both the temperature compensation current by a proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) circuit and the control voltage enabling each pHEMPT transistor to receive its input signal in combination with the gate bias voltage.
Abstract:
A method for establishing a connection between wireless communication devices suitable for sharing data between a sender and a receiver is provided. Both the sender and the receiver respectively have a built-in acceleration sensor to enable the sender and the receiver obtaining an internal tap-data and external tap-data. A first-connection is established between the sender and at least one receiver all around. The sender bumps the receiver both for sharing data. The sender receives the external tap-data from at least one receiver via the first-connection, the internal tap-data is compared with the external tap-data to filter out not-bumped receivers and then the bumped receiver is confirmed. Then, a second-connection is established between the bumped sender and receiver according to a security protocol so as to mutually share data through the second connection between the sender and the receiver.

Abstract:
A composite light-permitting panel structure includes a light-permitting substrate unit, a light-permitting printing unit and a light-permitting protruding unit. The light-permitting substrate unit includes at least one light-permitting body, and the light-permitting body has a top surface and a bottom surface. The light-permitting indicating unit includes a plurality of light-permitting printed indicators formed on the bottom surface of the light-permitting body. The light-permitting protruding unit includes a plurality of light-permitting protruding member members and at least one light-permitting frame member integrally formed on the top surface of the light-permitting body. The light-permitting protruding member members are selectively surrounded by the light-permitting frame. Thus, when the user touches and presses the top surface of the light-permitting body, the design of the light-permitting protruding members and/or the light-permitting frame can generate and provide 3D touch feeling for the user.

Disclosed is a vehicle-used power supply system. The vehicle power supply system comprises a storage unit, a bidirectional dc/dc convertor, a dc bus, a controller and a driving module. The bidirectional dc/dc convertor is configured to boost the power stored in the storage unit to a dc bus power. The controller is configured to control the bidirectional dc/dc convertor to operate in a boost mode for driving the motor or in a buck mode for charging the storage unit. The driving module is configured to receive the dc bus power and drive the motor.

Abstract:
A rack-mounted, combined KVM switch with console is described. The combined KVM switch with console is attached to the rack by affixing the switch to two front posts of the rack. The monitor and input module of the console are hinged to the switch so that they can be independently swiveled. The user may easily position the monitor and the input module in various different positions for various purposes. A first locking mechanism releasably locks the input module to a horizontal position, and a second locking mechanism releasably locks the monitor to a vertical position.
