摘要： A device for mounting a wheel cover on a disc wheel for use in an automobile. The device includes a plurality of engagement units. Each engagement unit includes a leg extending from the wheel cover, and a housing secured on the disc wheel. The leg has at its tip portion an engagement pin. The housing includes a wall having a C-shaped cutout forming a hook portion. There are provided in the housing a spring and slide plate supported by the spring. When the wheel cover is depressed toward the disc wheel and rotated in a predetermined direction, each leg is received in the housing and guided by the slide plate so that the pin is introduced into the hook portion through the cutout. The engagement of the pin with the hook portion is ensured by the urging of the spring member.

摘要： A disk drive includes media for recording data, disk heads for recording data and reproducing data on the disks. The heads are supported on arms. A head actuator drives the arms moving the head to a predetermined data recording track on the disk. A spindle motor rotates the disk at a predetermined rotating speed. The spindle motor includes a rotor magnet disposed within a stator coil. The disk head and actuator motor are mounted on a pivot on opposed sides of each other. To control head positioning, first positioning data for positioning the disk heads and second positioning data are provided on each data surface. This data is detected by a data head. Second positioning data may be positioned on tracks not used for containing data. The head position is compensated by the stored second positioning information superimposed on the first positioning data.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a method is disclosed for manufacturing a semiconductor device. A side face parallel to a channel direction of a plurality of gate electrodes provided via a gate insulating film above a semiconductor substrate is included as a part of an inner wall of an isolation groove provided between the adjacent gate electrodes. The method can include forming a protection film covering the side face of the gate electrode. The method can include etching the semiconductor substrate using the gate electrode as a mask to form the isolation groove. The side face of the gate electrode is covered with the protection film. The method can include forming a first insulating film by oxidizing a surface of the isolation groove to fill a bottom portion of the isolation groove. In addition, the method can include forming a second insulating film on the first insulating film to fill an upper portion of the isolation groove including the side face of the gate electrode.
